The festive vibes have taken over the NFL world. From Patrick Mahomes and Co. to Russell Wilson Clan, the football professionals and their families are enjoying the off-season as they celebrate Easter. Earlier, it was Randi Mahomes who posted about the Mahomes family gathered around to have some quality time together. And now, Ciara and Russell Wilson, have shared their moments on this day spreading positivity and warmth.

The Steelers QB just posted a couple of pictures of him gathered with his family and a couple of other people. The moment appears purely joyous as the QB spends his Easter in Mexico this time, along with his whole family and close ones. This off-season has witnessed a lot of heartwarming wholesome content from the 35-year-old and this festive post is no exception.

Russell Wilson and family are embracing the good time

Russell Wilson’s celebratory post reflected a personal message, closely connected with his belief system and his love for his family. He wrote, “Grateful for Family. Jesus continues to amaze me! HIS Sacrifice for us all. His Grace & Love for us all is more than enough! Forever Grateful for our babies and His Endless Love! @Ciara.” Complimenting the caption, the first picture showed Wilson’s family—he, along with Ciara, their 3 daughters, and son Future Zahir.

The next photo showcased Russ holding adorable Princess Amora, who is looking innocently at the camera, while her QB father smiled at the camera. Both matching their outfit colors in white. The last photo seemed to be couple’s friends who also came along with their family to celebrate Easter. Wilson, in a festive spirit also uploaded the same photo on his Instagram Story and captioned it, “Happy Easter Weekend!! Celebrating our 👑” and added, “So So So Grateful for what Jesus has done.”

The story also consisted flags of Mexico, so we know that the family is on a vacation right now. The people got into the wholesome spirit and left comments like,”Bless you all good luck this year Russ I’m hoping for the best,” and “No wonder. You been busy winning at home.” But the family being in Mexico might also have other reasons behind them. The couple just celebrated nearly a decade of togetherness!

Ciara, Russell and their “forever” connection

The sensational couple completed their 9 years together. Ciara met with Russell Wilson at a college basketball game in 2014, shortly after his relationship with the rapper Future ended. The met on 26 March 2015 and Ciara reminded everyone of the special moment by posting a throwback picture of her wedding.

Her IG post said, “We are Wilsons” with her wearing a wedding dress, flaunting a bouquet, as Russell Wilson smiled and held her hand. Ciara reciprocated with Wilson when she made an anniversary post a couple of days ago. The IG post said, “3.26 the day that we met…9 years ago & forever one of the best days of my life. I love you so much @DangeRussWilson”

The pictures showed Ciara with a huge assortment of red heart shaped balloons as she beamed at the camera. One thing is for sure, the Russell Wilson has had quite fruitful last couple of weeks. Celebrating Easter in Mexico, getting signed to the Steelers when there was no hope, celebrating his 9 year anniversary. Hope the momentum continues for the quarterback in the NFL 2024 season as well.
