Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo are gearing up for their biggest adventure yet: parenthood. Last month, the Niners RB and the former Miss Universe shared the sweetest pregnancy announcement video, giving fans a dreamy peek into their next chapter. It had soft music, warm lighting, and just enough sappy magic to make you hit replay. Ever since, the McCaffrey crew has been on cloud nine. Now, while Christian and Olivia are probably busy picking nursery colors and arguing over baby names, someone else in the fam has already jumped ahead.

Christian’s mom, Lisa McCaffrey, is so excited to be a granny. Like, already-throwing-out-names level excited. In her latest IG story, Lisa shared a super cute painting by visual artist Donald Robertson. Splashed on a coffee glass, the artwork showed Christian holding a baby. Adorable, right? Along with the post, the soon-to-be grandma added a cheeky caption, “I am calling him/her Donald. 😊 Thank you!“, tagging Robertson.

Okay, so, is this a legit name hint or just a sweet little shoutout to the artist?  Either way, Lisa’s loving every second of this grandma era. Donald also reshared Lisa’s story on his IG. The big-shot creative director at Estée Lauder seemed just as delighted by the moment.

While the excitement around baby McCaffrey is at an all-time high, this journey hasn’t been without its challenges. The former pageant queen has been open about her struggles with endometriosis, a painful condition that can affect fertility. I want to have kids, but I want to make sure that I can. It could be really hard for me to have babies,” Olivia once shared during an episode of her reality show, The Culpo Sisters. The Reprisal actress added, “There is so much that I don’t know about what’s going to happen in the future with that condition, and I worry all the time about my timeline. I feel like I have to have kids ASAP.”

The 32-year-old also faced a pregnancy scare during her first trimester. Back in December, Olivia was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma, a type of blood clot in the uterus. At the time, she was already battling pneumonia and on strict bed rest when things took a frightening turn. “Towards the end of the two weeks of being really sick, I got a subchorionic hematoma, which is a blood clot in my uterus. And I was bleeding everywhere,” she shared.

Olivia admitted she was terrified after seeing all the blood. The couple rushed to the doctor, anxious about what it could mean for the pregnancy. Thankfully, they were met with relief. “We went to the doctor, and it was exciting to see that there was still a heartbeat,” she shared in a TikTok video.

Since then, Olivia’s pregnancy journey has been going much more smoothly. With the love and support of her family and a very enthusiastic soon-to-be grandma in the mix, Culpo seems to be soaking in every moment.
