Christen Harper Shares ‘Best Night Ever’ With Jared Goff After ‘Really Hard’ Time Due to Lions’ Struggles

You must think at times how cool it is to date an NFL player. You’re always in the spotlight and people are curious to know about you and whatnot. But you know that’s not all to it. The sad part is that you’re always under the public microscope. Your partner makes mistakes on the field, and people throw trolls your way. The players’ partners go through a lot, and amid all of this, they too deserve a little break. And Jared Goff‘s wife, Christen Harper, was not about to miss that chance.

Back in October, Lions QB Jared Goff celebrated his 30th birthday, and it was a very special one. Not just because his team has been playing amazing, but also because it was his first birthday after getting married. For the birthday, Mrs. Goff wore a beautiful sparkly silver dress from the label The Lynden Lane Co. And it looks like she’s missing the day a little too much, as she reposted pictures from the QB’s birthday celebration. “Best night ever (heart emoji),” wrote Christen as she shared a sneak peek of the celebration.

Jared and Christen tied the knot in June this year. The couple’s been together for almost 5 years, ever since they met on the popular celebrity dating app Raya. Christen is a model. She’s been on the Sports Illustrated cover a few times and has also appeared in a couple of movies. Although the couple married in 2024, the QB locked the deal with his sweetheart back in 2022. He popped the big question to her while they were on vacation. Sharing photos from the day Christen said yes to him, the QB wrote, “I’m the luckiest guy in the world because I get to spend forever with you. I love you ❤️ @christenharper.”

Mrs. Goff, like most of the players’ partners out there, makes sure she shows up for her husband when she’s not busy with her modeling duties. And she also makes sure to be there for her love on his tough days.

The Lions have been roaring this season, and Jared Goff has a huge part in this success. But the QB had a hard time during his first year with the Lions. Jared debuted in the NFL in 2016 with the Rams. After giving five years to the Rams, he got the shock of his life when the team decided to trade him for Matthew Stafford in 2021. That must have been hard for him. The 30-year-old found a new home with the Lions, but his first season was as bad as anything. The Lions could only manage 3 wins in 16 games played that year.

The disappointing season took a hit on Jared. “It was a little tough,” shared Christen as she looked back at that year. But she’s had his back through all the tough times. Over time, she’s also formed a genuine bond with the other girls on the WAGS squad. The 31-year-old stunning model often shares pictures from the game day with her girl gang on her socials. And on top of that, she makes sure her fashion game is on point. Christen believes in keeping it casual yet classy. “For special games, the girls and I will take a party bus. Maybe hit up a local bar before the game,” shared Mrs. Goff.

The Lions are currently ruling the NFC North with 12 wins. They’ll be facing the Bills in Week 15 next. Hopefully, we’ll catch a glimpse of Christen in the stands.
