The NFL is all set to enjoy the standard of a 2nd SB of the year this Monday night. Following an exhilarating weekend of football, the clash between Chiefs and Eagles is set to close NFL Week 11. While the teams have had the opportunity to relax and recuperate in their byes and break days, some of the players have not been cleared for the matchup.
With the expectations and new standards set this year, this matchup could potentially be a prelude to Super Bowl LVIII. As a total of 11 players remain unavailable, how badly will this affect either side’s ability to pull off a win in this rematch?

The Philadelphia Eagles endure 6 unavailabilities in their rematch against the Chiefs. Nick Sirianni would have hoped for the best possible roster ahead of the rematch, but that isn’t the case. He’ll hope to rely on his starters in order to make the best of their ballers to come away with a win following Super Bowl LVII’s disappointment.

The Eagles have mostly taken a hit on the defensive side of things. Most of their primary starting players stay on the roster, except for Dallas Goedert. They might miss a couple of opportunities to get extra juice from the drives, but they seem to have the bench strength just right for the replacement of the player.
They’re overall missing the OG Sua Opeta, the RB Rashad Penny, DE Derek Barnett, the DT Moro Ojomo, the TE Dallas Goedert, and the QB Tanner McKee, as all are listed as inactive for today’s game. The Eagles roster hasn’t taken as big of a hit as the Chiefs, and they might just get a shot at winning the game.

Kansas City Chiefs head into the match with 5 inactives to their name. While the unavailability may hamper Andy Reid’s ability to pick the starting lineup, he’ll hope the pillars of his offense and defense can plug any gaps the unavailabilities could have left behind.
As it stands, the Chiefs have some issues with their roster as the CB L’Jarius Sneed (knee), the RB’s Clyde Edwards-Helaire (Illness) and Jerick McKinnon (groin), and the WR’s Kadarius Toney (ankle), and Richie James are on IR due to issues with his knee and Justin Watson also finds a place on the injury list due to elbow problems. The inactive players are DE BJ Thompson, OL Mike Caliendo, DT Neil Farrell, DE Malik Herring, and WR Richie James.
The Chiefs have issues with the defensive players mainly, however, the WR Richie James is out for the game. They might have to focus on the injury list as a whole because their offense and defense both have taken a huge hit. Also, the weather in the stadium is expected to be a bit rainy, causing further problems in the game.
