Life is going well for The Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce. His personal life is solid with rumors about Taylor Swift and his team has already booked a playoff spot. Now he is also breaking personal records.
The Chiefs defeated the Dolphins handsomely in Germany. But that game also had a personal milestone for Kelce. He broke the franchise record for most receiving yards, previously held by the great Tony Gonzalez. However, #87 believes there’s one record he won’t be able to touch.

The 34-year-old TE broke Gonzalez’s record in the game against the Dolphins by registering 14 yards. He took his total to 10,941 yards, just one more than Tony Gonzalez. But on the podcast with his brother Jason Kelce ‘New Heights’, Travis believes he won’t come close to Gonzalez’s NFL record of most receiving yards by a TE.
“Maybe I’ll catch Tony Gonzalez in the most receiving yards ever by tight end; when I die because I still got like 4, 5 thousand more yards”, Kelce said to his brother jokingly. He’s 4,186 yards short of Gonzalez’s record of 15,127 yards.
