It’s a battle of the divisional leaders. While the Chiefs are on the top of the AFC West with 13-1, the Texans sit atop the AFC South with a 9-5 win-loss record. The adrenaline is running high ahead of the week 16 matchup. Players from both sides are warning their rivals. Fans are excited for Patrick Mahomes vs CJ Stroud as well.

Everyone was waiting for a reaction from former Texans player Charles Omenihu, who is donning the Chiefs jersey this season. The DE warned his former team and said, “I don’t fall into disorganisation and all,” before firing the 7-word warning, “I cannot wait to play them boys.” But he did not stop there. Omenihu was ready for the matchup and added, “I literally cannot. Yeah, it’s definitely gonna be some fire with.” That’s scary.

It ranked the Chiefs number 1 in the league while placing the Texans at number 9. However, both teams are coming off confident teams in week 15.

While the Chiefs are coming off a dominant 21-7 win in the week 15 matchup against the Browns, the Texans defeated the Dolphins 20-12. The Chiefs didn’t allow their rivals to score any point except the sole touchdown in the 3rd quarter. On the other hand, the Texans allowed their rivals only 2 FGs in their 2nd quarter and 1 TD in the 3rd quarter. So, both teams are riding high on the confidence.

That’s why even the Texans’ players are ready. They even warned the NFL QB, Patrick Mahomes. It’s getting wild as the game approaches.

Patrick Mahomes receives a warning from Tim Settle

When asked if the Chiefs QB was able to withstand the hits from rivals, the Texans DT Tim Settle got hyped up and warned, “I feel like I can take advantage of the O-line. Mahomes is a little banged up. I don’t know if he’s gonna play or not, but I hope he’s mobile because we coming in Arrowhead.” That’s some choice words there.

Patrick Mahomes hurt his ankle during the week 15 matchup against the Browns. While the fans were worried, he lifted everyone’s spirits by being a full participant in the following practice session. He warned the grim reaper and added, “Mahomes better make a good decision. “I ain’t making no threats. I’m making promises.

It’s a crucial time in the league. Every team wants to win the last games before the playoff starts. And if they defeat the Chiefs, their confidence will grow by leaps and bounds. The Chiefs too would like to win this game before their Christmas game against the Steelers.
