Shannon Sharpe is not happy with what happened in Dallas at North Central Expressway on Saturday evening. A recent car accident video, allegedly accusing Rashee Rice, is causing a storm on the internet and the NFL world.
Although it hasn’t been clearly revealed that Chiefs WR Rice was involved in this accident which injured four, his name is reportedly suspected as the driver, according to the police records. And consequently, being under the scanner, Rice is facing thorough criticism. Like many, former NFL tight end Shannon Sharpe took a recent dig on the incident, expressing his disappointment and frustration with the athlete.
Shannon Sharpe compared this hit-and-run case with that of former Las Vegas Raiders player Henry Ruggs’ drink-and-drive car accident case. In the latest episode of Nightcap, host Sharpe, who was joined by Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, reacted to car accidents involving several vehicles. Sharpe expressed, “You see, a wise man will learn from others’ mistakes, a fool must learn from his own, did you not just see Henry Ruggs get 11 years, yeah but that ain’t enough.”
He highlighted the fact that had he learned from Henry’s case, Rice would never even be speculated in connection to this case. Chad Johnson highlighted the same point, mentioning how there is nothing wrong in having the right kind of fun. But something like this, that puts lives to risk is just not the way to go about it. Advising the player, Johnson said, “Young Boy you gotta be smarter than that.”
While conversations surround the latest updates coming forth regarding the accident, details of reports pointing toward the car being owned by Rashee Rice have made their way onto the internet.
