However, the Kansas City team once again proved why they have so much recent success in the postseason. The team’s consistent defense continued to grab the spotlight, while the offense entered the party not too late. Next thing you know, the Chiefs are preparing for Las Vegas!

Rashee Rice couldn’t play a major role in the big win. He failed to record any touchdowns in the said game. Alas! All eyes remain set on the last clash of the season, to witness the WR at his best. Fortunately, he has the correct support from his neighborhood to start the Super Bowl week on a highly positive note and with a grand precious gesture.

Heading for the most important game in his life yet, Rashee Rice got to witness an extremely supportive gesture from the kids in his neighborhood and their families. In his most recent Instagram story, the WR shared a video where he could be seen capturing the young fans from his neighborhood, sending him off for the Super Bowl with placards in their hands. The signs held at the side of the road seemed in full support of him, reading, “Go Chiefs #4!”

The football player could be seen waving at them and his story caption, a little heart, reflected his overwhelmed reaction to such a precious gesture. It is highly unlikely that any other player receives a more grand send-off from his neighbors, and Rice is certain to cherish this moment, While the WR may not have made it to the Pro Bowl, he has something better to look forward to. And his rookie season is up there with the other star rookie, CJ Stroud.

Looking back at Rice’s rookie season

The Chiefs drafted Rice from SMU in the second round. While they had high hopes for him, Rice faced a slight dilemma before entering the NFL. He could play another season at SMU rather than directly jumping into the professional realm of things. However, Rice decided to enter the NFL after an impressive 2022 season with 96 catches, leading all FBS receivers in yards per game (113).

As the regular season unfolded, Rice stood out among the Chiefs’ wideouts. He led in catches (79), yards (938), and touchdowns (7). This marked one of the best seasons for a rookie wide receiver in Andy Reid’s 25-year head-coaching career. Notable other receivers who have developed under Reid include Tyreek Hill, DeSean Jackson, and Jeremy Maclin.
