Patrick Mahomes is scoring big off the field! The Chiefs’ superstar quarterback and his wife just dropped a massive $5M donation to Texas Tech, fueling the school’s stadium and football facility upgrades. This game-changing contribution wraps up the campaign for ‘Fearless Champions’, and it’s making waves.
Texas Tech’s official X account dropped a tweet, calling Mahomes and his wife Brittany the ultimate ambassador for Red Raiders Athletics. “There isn’t a greater ambassador for Texas Tech Athletics, not only for his success on the field but for what he and his family do off of it. They have proven it once again by providing the final gift of the Campaign for Fearless Champions. 💪”

NBC Sports’ lead college football and basketball insider Nicole Auerbach later confirmed that this generous gift follows Mahomes’ recent mega deal with Adidas, further showcasing his commitment to his alma mater. With this $5 million boost, the Red Raiders are ready to take their facilities to the next level.
This ain’t Mahomes’ first rodeo in supporting Texas Tech, though. Last year, the three-time Super Bowl champ dropped his custom 2019 Nissan Titan XD Rocky Ridge Edition into The Matador Club’s lap. Valued at $61,775 and decked out with Mahomes’ logo and number 15, this truck was up for grabs in a raffle. For just $100 a ticket, fans had a shot at scoring a slice of MVP history while backing Red Raiders student-athletes. “We are incredibly honored to partner with Patrick Mahomes for this truck raffle,” Matador Club Board Member Cody Campbell asserted. “Not only does it give fans the chance to win a truly one-of-a-kind truck, but it also allows us to make a significant impact in our community.”
Mahomes’ contributions extend beyond the truck. He was also all in on community outreach. In 2019, Texas Tech Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt revealed that the Kansas City QB grabbed a “significant block” of season tickets so local kids and families could catch Red Raiders games. “Pat continues to invest in Texas Tech and help us out,” Hocutt said, praising the young man. These tickets, part of Mahomes’ youth charity gig, the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation, went out to different organizations, helping out tons of local charities.
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ foundation keeps leveling up for the youth, now teaming up nationally with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

The Mahomes duo makes major play: $1.625M boost for the Boys & Girls Clubs and more
When it comes to making waves off-field, the Mahomes couple are the ultimate MVPs! Their 15 and the Mahomies Foundation just dropped a game-changing $1.625M on a new partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
This ain’t just about writing checks—it’s about making a real impact. The funds are set to benefit communities close to the Mahomes’ hearts: Greater Kansas City, Lubbock, Tyler, and Whitehouse. Plus, the Foundation is adding $1,500 for every touchdown Patrick scores this regular season, making every end zone dance count for a good cause.
In a nod to this new alliance, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City and Lubbock will rename facilities to honor the Mahomes. Meanwhile, the East Texas site will use these donations to provide scholarships for up to 300 kids annually. And they’re not just stopping there—15 and the Mahomies are all in on upgrading these spots to the next level.
Patrick Mahomes is pumped about it, saying, “Kids who attend a club, like Brittany once did, are given the tools to thrive and lead with purpose.” Brittany added, “We’re committed to uplifting others and expanding opportunities for kids everywhere.”
