Picture this: the Bills hosting the Chiefs in a potential game of the year—an 8-2 vs. 9-0 clash that’s practically dripping in playoff vibes. (I know it still needs to kick off, but their records sound like money well spent already!) And while all eyes are on Travis Kelce’s SNF game, a couple of hours north of Buffalo (in Toronto), his belle, Taylor Swift, caught all the attention on Saturday with her iconic Eras Tour. Turns out, the Chiefs’ owner, Tavia Hunt, wasn’t going to miss it, even with kickoff just a day away. Now that’s dedication.
But Tavia didn’t just attend the concert. Oh no, she went all in with the Swiftie mode. She shared moments from her night on the ‘gram, including snapshots with the Swift parents, Andrea and Scott. The post caption summed up her experience of the night: “A huge thank you to the Swift family for an unforgettable time at the Eras Tour in Toronto!🫶Your kindness and hospitality are truly unmatched. It’s hard to believe, but this show just keeps getting better and better.”
She even gave a shout-out to the Eras Tour movie, calling it a masterpiece and subtly roasting the Grammys for snubbing it. Considering there are just six shows left – three in Toronto and three in Vancouver – Tavia wrote, “If you haven’t seen it yet, what are you waiting for? … And if you can’t make it, don’t miss the critically acclaimed, record-breaking Eras Tour movie. It’s a masterpiece — with its cultural impact, stunning cinematography, and innovative take on the concert film genre, it’s shocking it didn’t receive a single nomination at the 2025 Grammy Awards. 🤨😤”

The Eras Tour film (which features every era that Swift performs on the tour apart from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department) premiered on October 11, 2023, and hit theaters worldwide two days later. It amassed a record $37 million in ticket sales on its first day of pre-sales in the United States and over $100 million globally. But what’s interesting about it is the fact that Swift self-promoted the film.
The pop star made and released the film during the SAG-AFTRA Hollywood strike by bypassing production studios and going straight to AMC as a distributor. She ‘bet on herself’ by contributing around $15-20 million of her own money to cover pre-production, production, and post-production costs, and in the end, it paid off. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour became the highest-grossing concert film of all time (grossing upwards of $250 million worldwide). Be that as it may, many believe that Swift’s decision to bypass production studios was the reason the Grammys snubbed her film in the Best Music Film category.
While Tavia Hunt seemed just as furious about the snub as any other Swiftie, the Chiefs owner couldn’t help but remark, “But hey, Taylor is still winning!” Bold move, Tavia. But there’s no lie there. We can say that the awards stitched her a bit because of all the hype and fanfare around it. Although, for Tay-Tay, it’s not a biggie. Because Tavia summed it up well, she’s still winning—with the Eras Tour and the fact that it’s helping boost the economy of every country and city it visits. And there’s also the increased viewership she’s helped bring to the NFL, courtesy of her Chiefs game appearances.

Speaking of Taylor Swift’s game-day appearances, when the Kansas City took on the Buccaneers on November 4 and won 30-24, the Hunt family gave the pop star a bedazzled Chiefs-themed gift box. It was covered in sparkly red and silver wrapping paper, topped with a gold bow and diamond broach with the Chiefs logo. To customize the gift box specifically for Swift, it also featured Travis Kelce’s No. 87!
Sharing snapshots from the day, Tavia captioned her post, “Monday Night Football in our house!🏟️🙌🏼🎊 LET’S GO RED!!❤️🎁💄⛽️📌🥊 8-0hhhh so THANKFUL!!🙏🏼” That said, it’s no surprise that the Hunt family loves Taylor. After all, they’ve been on board the Tayvis train ever since their story began! In fact, owner Clark Hunt even said, “When they first started dating, there were a lot of people saying, ‘Oh, it’s a marketing stunt,’ but no. It’s very real.
“We’re so happy for Travis Kelce and Taylor and their relationship,” Hunt added. “I’ve had a chance to meet her at one of the many games that she’s attended this year, and she’s just as sweet as she can be.” The Chiefs owner and his family even watched her perform last summer when she brought the Eras Tour to Arrowhead Stadium. “What an incredible performer—one of the most amazing artists of our time,” Clark said about the experience.
Coming back to the present, will Taylor Swift be in the stands for Travis Kelce and the Chiefs’ SNF or not? It’s unclear. Reports are swirling about her plans, and Swift has yet to attend a Chiefs road game this season. Maybe she’s sticking to Arrowhead after her infamous Buffalo experience—or maybe her Eras Tour schedule is just that packed. Hmm…
Last time out: Buffalo did not go easy on Travis Kelce’s beau Taylor Swift

Now, even if Taylor Swift had plans to head back to Highmark Stadium this season, she might just think twice. Remember last January? Sure, her TE boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Chiefs won the AFC Divisional Round over the Bills. But Tay-Tay had to face the Bills Mafia in all its, um, glory. And let’s just say it wasn’t all tailgate beers and warm welcomes.
Adam Lefkoe spilled the tea on the Up & Adams segment, saying, “It was not a great experience in Buffalo. It kind of shocked the Kelce family and everyone related to them.” Apparently, the Kelces expected a fun, energetic atmosphere. Oh, heck yeah, they got that… and much more. What they got was Bills Mafia cranking up the hostility to a thousand. Swift’s entourage? Less than thrilled.
Travis Kelce himself didn’t hold back on his New Heights podcast with his elder brother Jason Kelce, describing how things got “extra.” “There was a lot of hate pulling up to that stadium, man… Did it get a little disrespectful? One thousand percent.” He even mentioned inappropriate comments about Patrick Mahomes and his family. And Swift, who was just there to don the #87 shirt from the stands, didn’t appreciate the “ruthlessness” of it all. I mean, that’s the name of the game, isn’t it? Bar the disrespect part—that’s non-negotiable.

And that’s exactly why Jason had a completely different vibe. The Eagles legend embraced the chaos, famously ripping his shirt off and chugging beers with the Bills fans. Huh? That’s odd… Especially when his brother’s GF got ‘trouble’ brewing. But that’s Jason for you, booze to share? Sign him up first. He called it “one of the most fun experiences he ever had.”
But maybe, just maybe, TS might put that aside and break her dry-away spell this season with a surprise appearance. Keep your eyes peeled on that walkway, Chiefs Kingdom (and Swifties).
