Can you hear the rumble of their footsteps? Can you see Patrick Mahomes marching forward with his army? If yes, then grab a seat, because Josh Allen is coming at him too, with his Buffaloes. And hey, no matter who wins the battle, it’ll surely be something that will fill you up with adrenaline and goosebumps. In the last 4 regular-season games, the Bills were able to defeat the Chiefs. But, you know the Chiefs right, they are famous for their performances in high-pressure games. They bested the Buffaloes 3 times in the playoffs. So, you kinda get the point, right? We have a team that’s hungry for the third Super Bowl win, and we have a team that’s desperate to earn that ring for the first time.

I know, I know, it’s a bummer that we will have to pick a side. Because both the teams are literally deserving of being called the GOAT. But it’s the world of sports, and everyone, including you and me, will have to go with one team in the end. Just like Chiefs’ legend Shawn Barber did recently with a wow statement. “I think this team is the most dangerous Chiefs team that you’ve seen at any point during this playoff dynasty run.” Well, even though he’s a former Chiefs player, you can’t deny that he’s absolutely right.

Can you really blame him for speaking facts? It was almost as if the Kansas City Chiefs went into Super Saiyan mode and completely dominated the NFL world. Let’s take the favorite in the spotlight. Patrick is not tired of setting records. He literally became the first player to win 2 Super Bowl MVP awards in a row. Fans haven’t seen this since Terry Bradshaw in ‘79 and ‘80. I mean, this guy is serious trouble for the opponents. Patrick holds the league record for a whopping 219 touchdown passes. Remember the recent Superman pass, right? Yeah, no doubt he’ll be a legend in no time.

On the D-line, players like Chris Jones are helping the Chiefs rank among the top 10 defenses in the NFL right now. Oh, don’t worry, we’re not forgetting Travis Kelce at this party. He’s been a standout with numbers that rank right up there with legendary WRs like Jerry Rice. How? Well, there are only 2 players in NFL history to cross 2,000 postseason receiving yards, and that’s Jerry and Travis. I know, I’ve made my point clear. But will it be enough for the Chiefs to make the score 4-0 against the Bills? Guess we’ll know soon.

Is Patrick Mahomes and Co. too much for the Bills to handle?

The clouds of worry loom over the Bills as the Chiefs come to take the crown again. NFL reporter James Palmer recently tweeted something interesting that could be a fishbone in the throat for the Bills. “The Bills are 29th on third down this year. Their ability to force turnovers (3rd) has hidden this issue to an extent. The problem is the Chiefs are great at protecting the ball (T-4th), and especially lately!” Well, Josh Allen, you better tighten up your cleats.

This Chiefs’ success on third downs is majorly possible because of Patrick Mahomes. His exceptional decision-making, combined with his O-line gaining more yardage on early downs, can be a real concern for the Bills. In contrast, the Bills’ defense has struggled on third downs, allowing conversions 43.8% of the time—ranking them among the league’s bottom teams in this category. Will Josh Allen and his Buffaloes be able to tackle this obstacle? We’re going to find out real soon.
