The Bills didn’t know they were giving a weapon to the Chiefs in the 2024 NFL Draft. The first-round pick (28th overall), Xavier Worthy, started his NFL career with a bang by scoring a touchdown on his very first ball. Since then, he has been on a roll. In 17 games (13 starters) in 2024, the rookie scored 6 rushing TDs in 638 yards and 3 rushing TDs in 104 yards. They were happy with their pick.

Overall, the Chiefs are the happiest among the 32 NFL teams before Super Bowl LIX on February 9. They have won back-to-back trophies and head on for their 3rd one. Their social media team is also hyping up the Chiefdom. This time, it surely made every fan crackle and return to their childhood.

On Wednesday, February 5, the Chiefs posted photos of their superstars when they were kids. It had almost everyone from Patrick Mahomes to Travis Kelce, to Chris Jones. But they did Xavier Worthy dirty by posting a funny photo with his hands spread out while making a funny expression.

While they intended it to be a light-hearted moment, the rookie took offense to that. He posted the photo on his IG story and wrote a 6-word message summing up his feelings, “Yooo yall can’t be doin that.” That’s funny and definitely brings smiles to the fans’ faces.

They are hoping for the rookie to lead them to win the trophy. He is also excited about the big game.

Xavier Worthy reveals his hardest critic in the locker room

At the 2024 NFL combine, he ran the fastest time in the 40-yard dash, 4.21 seconds. “I basically came out of the womb running. I’ve really been fast my whole life. Growing up, I was always the fastest kid,” he said, describing his speed and running abilities.

However, during the mid-season, the Chiefs receiver faced a football crisis. Starting the week 9 game against the Buccaneers, he faced difficulty in grabbing the ball on the sides. However, his teammate and fellow WR, DeAndre Hopkins, stepped up to help him. He helped Xavier Worthy get his technique right, to get in and out of the route.

Hopkins is also playing in his first Super Bowl on February 9. He praised Worthy and said, “I love X. Xavier Worthy is going to be a great receiver for years to come.” The rookie praised his teammate and said, “He’s literally my hardest critic.

Now, he is working on his path to glory. In 2 playoff games, he recorded 11 receptions for 1 TD in 130 receiving yards. The locker room is working on its way to a Super Bowl. On Sunday, Donald Trump will be in attendance to watch the teams play. Will Worthy truly live up to his name?
