Chris Jones wants Tyreek Hill gone—Is this the right move for the Chiefs?

Only 2 hours before the Miami Dolphins’  vs  Jacksonville Jaguars season-opener game. Tyreek Hill has been trapped in an unexpected legal situation. On 7th September, the Dolphins’ wide receiver was handcuffed outside Hard Rock Stadium in Florida. Fans are worried about why cops detained Hill. However, according to Reek’s agent Drew Rosenhaus, the wide receiver was detained for a driving violation. The incident happened while driving in his black Lamborghini on the way to the stadium. 

After this, Chief’s defensive tackle Chris Jones has asked to free Tyreek. He posted, “Arresting the 🐆 is crazy….. free reek” on his X showing his frustration on arresting him. However, Dolphins have also issued an official statement following the development in the case. The Dolphin’s officials stated, “Several teammates saw the incident and stopped to offer support,” according to a report by NFL.com.

On “Game Day Morning,” Stephen Ray Mariucci mentioned that there was a car accident, and Tyreek Hill stopped to help. He also confirmed that Hill is completely fine and has not been injured. In videos shared on social media platform X, Tyreek can be seen sitting on the road while officials are tying his hands. People at the scene said Calais Campbell was also in the car with Hill, but there’s no official word on whether Campbell was arrested.

Hill’s agent Drew Rosenhaus, informed fans he is expected to play in Sunday’s game despite his arrest and will be playing the game at 1 PM, the scheduled time And not only him the team also addressed the situation posting, “He has since been released.” Tyreek and the other players involved have safely arrived at the stadium and will be on the field for the game.

However, not everyone seems happy after the statement of his release. And are questioning the law officials for prioritizing elites.

This incident reminded people when Scottie Scheffler, who was detained for a traffic violation before Round 2 at the PGA Championship. The golfer faced serious charges like felony second-degree assault of a cop. And misdemeanor charges for third-degree reckless driving, criminal mischief, and disregarding traffic signals from an officer directing traffic.

NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero questioned the whole situation. Talking about this incident Scottie Scheffler played the game even after being detained for a traffic violation before Round 2 at the PGA Championship “The NFL’s No. 1 player Tyreek Hill plans to play despite being detained for a traffic violation before Week 1.” However, his team and fans seem unbothered by it and are excited to see Reek on the field.
