Tyreek Hill has been impressing the football world for years now. But the Cheetah now finds himself in the company of elites in footballing history. The QB, Tua Tagovailoa, on the other hand, is the perfect spoil for him. The Cheetah seems ready to overtake everybody. But can he also fulfill his dream as a kid along the way?

Tagovailoa and Hill have formed a destructive duo. They have been ripping apart defenses this season like a piece of paper. With this sensational 78-yarder play, Cheetah has announced his arrival on the leaderboard. But this is not the only record he wants to break. And with the form he is in, nobody will argue that he can’t break every record held by a receiver in the NFL.

In the game against the struggling Washington Commanders, the destructive duo of Tua and Tyreek claimed a piece of history, earning a Top 5 mention for the 29-year-old WR and placing fifth in a list of 60+ yards TDs.

The Miami Dolphins are leading comprehensively in the 2nd quarter by 24-7. Though the Commanders have started this quarter positively, will they be able to stop the Tua-Tyreek combination?

The promise is still there

“I will break 2,000 yards next year,” Hill said before the beginning of the season. With one stellar performance after another, this might come true as well. Hill continued, “2,000 yards was on my bucket list to get before I leave this league. You all think Cheetah gonna leave without doing something he promised himself he was going to do as a kid? 2,000 yards and another Super Bowl. We’re getting that. Believe that.” And he is getting mighty close as well.

The record of 1,964 yards was set by Calvin Johnson, the WR for the Detroit Lions, in 2012. It looked impossible for anyone to get there, but now the Cheetah cannot be discounted. Each game and each yard he adds, including the game against the Commanders, will take him closer to his dream. When the skills of Hill match the undivided attention that he has displayed this season, anything is indeed possible.
