Step aside Patrick, there is another Mahomes athlete in town. It is none other than Zoe Mahomes, Patrick Mamomes’s half-sister, who aspires to make a name in sports. Following the footsteps of her sister-in-law and former pro soccer player, Brittany Mahomes, the ten-year-old on July 1, 2024, secured her first official place with a soccer club!

In a series of posts on Instagram, the young player showed her excitement about getting an opportunity to sign with the Sting 14G Pre-ECNL Flynn soccer club. The original post from the soccer club in Richardson, Texas, celebrated the big moment for several young girls, with the caption, “It’s always a pleasure to be able to help our local Sting girls on their big signing day! Hope you guys enjoyed your little gift bags and left nice and full ⚽️❤️ thank you for giving Soccer City Richardson the opportunity to make signing day so special for you girls! Good luck this season. 😊”

In the video attached, all the young girls can be seen entering the room where their big moment would take place. Zoe, with a rather giddy look, can be seen taking the chair beside her coach when it is her turn to sign the contract. With a nervous adjustment of the pen, she can be seen signing the paper with utter concentration and later posing with a big smile on her face. The video also showcased her proudly posing with her contract.

Mahomes Sr.’s daughter also shared a short video clip featuring the happy moment and captioned it, “Signing party 2024!” alongside tagging her club. In the background, the instrumental version of the song Beautiful Things by Guitar Tribute Players could be heard playing, fitting perfectly with the celebratory moment.

However, this is not the first time the father has expressed his joy at the accomplishments of his daughter. Three months ago, when little Zoe scored a hattrick in one of her games, the proud father took to Instagram admiring the same and wrote, “Yep. Did it again. Keep grinding baby girl.” While the young soccer star has achieved many great games to her name, it was the recent Big Bash Tournament that set things in the right direction for her. And as Zoe mentioned, it wouldn’t have been possible without the support by her side.

During the Spring Bash Tournament, Zoe competed for the North Texas State Soccer Club, where she excelled on the field, leading her team to a mesmerizing triumph. Thanks to her stellar performance, her team, Sting Pre-Elite G14 Brave, secured a 2-1 victory over Attack FC 13G. After the soccer match, it was Zoe who left coaches and guardians praising her great perseverance and determination.

Even during the City Futsal Soccer 3v3 Tournament, she played an elemental role in leading her team to success. Posing alongside her teammates, Martina Villegas, and Kinley, Zoe looked ecstatic.

Cherishing the moment, the player reposted the Sting 14G Pre-Elite Brave’s IG post with the caption, “Grit, perseverance, and determination. These girls showed up today! Some teams get defeated in a loss and give up, but these girls picked themselves up, dusted off the loss from yesterday, and came back today to play the same opponent they lost to and won! Could not be more proud of this group of girls and their fierce desire to be the team they know they are.” Enthusiastic about the win, the post titled them as “Champions!”

Extending her gratitude to all the people around her, she uploaded a post on her social media account. Thanking everyone for setting the right environment around her, the little soccer star especially had words of honor for her ever-supportive coach. While her coach praised her sports ethics and dedication, little Zoe captioned the video, “A good coach can change a game, a great coach can change a life!”

Much like the month-old recognition, Zoe did not forget to mention the role of the people around her during her signing celebration as well. Uploading the third post in a row about her new journey with the new club, she thanked her coach, parents, and family.

She is seemingly taking the historic athletic legacy of the Mahomes family a step forward with her noteworthy triumphs and appears all excited to start her journey with the family-like team by her side.
