Dallas loves its football. Not in the casual, ‘let’s watch a game’ way—no, Cowboys fans live and breathe this team. The highs? Super Bowls, legends, the star on the helmet. The lows? Gut-wrenching playoff losses, the Jerry Jones-led chaos, and, apparently, your own star WR giving the Eagles fanbase the crown. Yes, CeeDee Lamb just did that—he called Philly fans more passionate than Cowboys fans.
At a brunch event with Derrick Henry and TikTok star Katie Feeney, Lamb got hit with the question: Who’s got the more passionate fanbase? Without hesitation, he gave the nod to the Eagles. “Eagles [fans are more passionate], they’re crazy. Our Cowboys fans are deep, I don’t wanna say nothing crazy, but the Eagles got it.” Crazy? Maybe. But not really a stretch. The Birds gang could get on the nerves.
And if that doesn’t cut it for you, then how about the city greasing its lamp posts and poles? Yeah, all that to prevent any casualty from happening. Fans climbing them in pure euphoria, celebrating the dub, one wrong move and it can all go south. So, does that craziness cut it?

I mean, obviously, if you are an admirer of the America’s Team, you would have wanted Lamb to back you guys. So, we get all that ‘not thrilled’ part. In a city where every game feels like a showdown for pride, hearing your own guy tip his cap to a division rival stings. And in a fanbase that’s been through decades of ‘this is our year’ heartbreak, loyalty runs deep. However, there would be some of you who just wouldn’t care.
Because there’s a bigger problem than that, who is pulling the Cowboys behind. Jerry Jones. And guess what? CeeDee Lamb is with you guys on that one as he lay his thoughts bare on X, clapping back at the latest Micah Parsons trade rumors, making it clear that the Cowboys’ future depends on keeping their defensive superstar. “Let’s just win ball games and that’s with 11! SMH.” In other words—stop the noise, keep Parsons, and focus on football.
Sure, Dallas will not let his Eagles comments slide that easily, but do you really think they don’t see the bigger picture? Yeah, that’d be foolish. As for Lamb’s comments, well, he did not sugarcoat it like his QB did, that’s for sure.
CeeDee Lamb did not take Dak Prescott’s ‘high-road’
Dak Prescott is playing the long game. He watches the Eagles win another Super Bowl and still takes the diplomatic route, talking about how close the Cowboys are to breaking through. “Check the record,” he says, before admitting Philly has the hardware. It’s the kind of answer you expect from a franchise QB—measured, respectful, optimistic. But not everyone in Dallas is taking that approach.

CeeDee Lamb? He’s not here for moral victories. He’s putting pressure on the Cowboys to be better, to stop settling for ‘almost’. While Dak preaches patience, Lamb is making it clear he’s tired of the same old story. His numbers in 2024—101 catches, 1,194 yards, six touchdowns—prove he’s doing his part. But the team? A 7-10 record and another wasted year. That’s not sitting well with the Cowboys’ star receiver. And in the humblest of opinions, that’s what the Big D needs right now.
Jerry’s big promises, far-fetched dreams, are enough. For the players, especially those who are shedding all their blood, sweat, and tears, on the gridiron, they want to see the hard work reap rewards. That has not been the case of late.
And while Prescott is already talking up his new head coach, Brian Schottenheimer, Lamb isn’t interested in playing politics. He wants results. Prescott calls Schottenheimer “old-fashioned” and praises his work ethic, but does that fix a team that hasn’t been to an NFC Championship in 29 seasons? Lamb doesn’t seem convinced. The frustration is showing, and he’s not shy about letting everyone know.

So, where does that leave the Cowboys? Prescott is focused on rehab, determined to be ready for the offseason program. But will his steady approach be enough to keep Lamb bought in? One thing’s for sure—if the Cowboys don’t start backing up all this talk, they might have bigger problems than just fixing a hamstring.
