The games have begun even before the AFC Championship game. And it is Travis Kelce who draws first blood before the kick-off. As the Kansas City Chiefs TE, he takes the warming-up procedure for his quarterback seriously.
Not much time is left before the biggest AFC game of the season. And the bad blood has started boiling over. Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are not looking to give an inch to their counterparts. Watch how Kelce reminds the Baltimore Ravens placekicker Justin Tucker of his place on the field.
Travis Kelce takes all the burden

Though enough space is provided to both teams for warming up. It seems the Ravens, and especially Tucker, were in the hopes of some mind games. As before the iconic clash, he chose to warm up with his kit and balls, near the Chiefs’ region. While Mahomes was trying to throw the balls, but in comes Kelce with his commanding swagger.

And as cameras had caught previously, Tucker and Mahomes discussed the former’s kit being in Mahomes’ space. Kelce, on the other hand, arrived by kicking Tucker’s ball away and then proceeded to throw away his helmet as well as the remaining balls.

But with the big NFL conference championship game just moments away from starting. The excitement is in the air and both teams have the roster strength and the form to win it all. Which team has done better in this fixture?
Never before for such stakes
The Chiefs and the Ravens have met each other 12 times previously. With only one of those 12 games being in the postseason. And while the Chiefs lead the series 7-5, it is the Ravens who came out victorious in their last meeting in 2021.

The same was the result of the only postseason game played between the two AFC Championship finalists in 2011. But with these mind games that the Ravens are employing, it could suggest that they do indeed fear the capacity of Mahomes.
