Cam Ward’s journey till here has been nothing but remarkable. He has defied the odds at every step as he was an unranked high school recruit and is now a record-breaking college QB. Impressive, huh? He has set multiple records at Incarnate Word – including single-game highs of 610 passing yards and 7 TDs. And when he was transferred to Washington State, he continued to excel – 323 passes on 497 attempts in the 2023 season.
But 2024? That was his magnum opus. In his final college season, he led the Hurricanes to a 10-2 record with 4,313 passing yards, 39 TDs, and a 67.2% completion rate. Practically unstoppable and further strengthening his draft stock.
But the question is – where will he land? Though Cam Ward remains open to playing with any team, his interactions with Titans GM Mike Borgonzi and head coach Brian Callahan do hint at something – like a strong connection. And what cannot be ignored is what Ward had to say about Callahan, “One of the best head coaches out there.”
Meanwhile, the Titans, still looking for their long-term answer under center, appear ready to make a bold move that could reshape their draft landscape.
What’s your perspective on:
Is Cam Ward the savior the Titans desperately need, or just another overhyped draft pick?

The Titans’ aggressive push at the NFL draft
The presence of the Tennessee Titans at Cam Ward’s pro day signals their intent to secure their quarterback of the future. They would be wearing ‘we love Cam Ward’ shirts if they could. This bold move by them could send sudden shockwaves throughout the league, making the Giants and Browns rethink their draft strategies.
Here’s the thing – the Titans are eyeing Cam Ward as their franchise QB because their second-round pick in 2023, Will Levis, has struggled to make a mark as a reliable starter. Not the ideal ‘franchise guy’ they were looking for. Because the Titans finished at a league-worst last season with a 3-14 record. So, it’s evident why the organisation is looking for a better option.
On Monday, The Post’s Giants beat writer, Paul Schwartz, dropped an interesting update on his X: “Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll lead the Giants contingent to Miami for Cam Ward’s Pro Day. They will probably like what they see. It is all a big tease or can the Giants move into position to get Ward in the NFL Draft?”
