The controversy surrounding the FOX lawsuit shows no signs of fading. New developments continue to emerge daily, with many individuals weighing in since the lawsuit was made public. Joy Taylor, in particular, has been at the center of the matter, being one of the individuals named in the lawsuit. Noushin Faraji in the lawsuit has accused Taylor of being given her role as the moderator on Undisputed because of her alleged relationship with Fox Sports executive Charlie Dixon. While several people have criticized Taylor, Cam Newton recently supported her, after Jason Whitlock commented on Taylor and her appearance.

Whitlock in his podcast said, “I know what I’m capable of, that big rack of hers. She showed off constantly and that peanut butter skin, with that big rack.” These comments did not sit well with Newton as he responded to the same and called out Whitlock, “Hey Jason Whitlock, Hey my guy, No, you’re not my guy, Guy, come here, you’re not that guy pal, you’re not, that big rack of her’s that’s inappropriate, that butter skin, that’s inappropriate. Bro, you’re not that guy. So to comment on something like this, bro stay in your lane. Whether Joy did what she did, whether the accusations are true or not. Stay in your lane Jason.”

The former Panthers quarterback took aim at Whitlock for his remarks, even labeling him a “villain” in the industry. But that wasn’t the end of the story. On an episode of The Fearless, Whitlock and Steve Kim fired back at Newton. Whitlock suggested that the Panthers QB was just trying to stay “relevant,” while Kim went as far as calling him a “simpleton.” Given Newton’s outspoken nature, it was no surprise when he hit back with a response.

Newton warned Whitlock and Kim and said, “If I see you, All I ask is keep the same energy. Mr Kim, keep that same energy when I see you.” He continued, “I will advise Jason Whitlock and Steve Kim to keep that same energy when I see you. I think it’s gonna be Super Bowl.” It will be interesting to see how this continues and whether Whitlock responds to Newton and sees him at the Super Bowl.

It’s not just Newton. Several people have been calling out Whitlock for his comments on Taylor. The Fearless host, though, does not believe his comments were wrong and addressed the same. Sharing a clip of his podcast on X, he wrote: “People are upset with me for referring to Joy Taylor as a woman with a “big rack & peanut butter skin”. That’s not profane in my view. Somebody needs to explain to me why that’s over the top?”

What’s your perspective on:

Is Jason Whitlock's 'raw' commentary a breath of fresh air or just plain disrespectful?

Have an interesting take?

Whitlock stated that he did not think anything he said about Taylor was offensive. He opened up a discussion, urging people to reach out to him and explain to him how what he said was profane and inappropriate. Whitlock even talked about how this sort of ‘raw’ commentary was needed in these times and doubled down on his remarks.

Well, whether one agrees with Whitlock or not is a different story. Currently, it doesn’t seem like this will be the end of it though, whether it be Whitlock, Newton, or anyone else. The conversation around the topic is bound to continue. Taylor, meanwhile, is back on air and has not yet shared her thoughts on it all.
