Will Shedeur Sanders land with the New York Giants?” “Will the Steelers choose him as their future QB1?” “Will the Buffs QB be drafted in the first 20 picks or not?” These and many other questions are swirling in Green Bay on Thursday as the 2025 NFL Draft kicks off. While the picture will become clearer soon regarding where the Buffs QB will land, let’s not overlook how he’s already making waves with his outfit.

Shedeur Sanders’s thick, iced-out jewelry shocked the internet at NFL draft night. Dov Kleiman posted a video of Shedeur where we can see he is wearing an iced-out jewelry like his father used to wear and wrote a caption, “Aura: Shedeur Sanders is wearing a massive chain worth well over $100K for tonight’s draft.” Cool, right? Well, it was absolutely cool, but fans have trolled him for flaunting a big silver chain and heavily commented on the insider’s post.

It was a few four hours to the draft night, and Shedeur Sanders dropped a 7-word message to 32 NFL teams through his X: “I’m built for whatever today may bring.” The Talk of the town is that Shedeur will end up getting drafted by the Steelers. And why is that? No Giants? Well, it was one day before the draft night. And Adam Schefter dropped a bombshell in the sports world about Shedeur.

For a month, we have been hearing that the Giants need a QB like him. Also, they would draft Shedeur at No. 3. But that didn’t happen. According to Schefter, “Shedeur Sanders is not going No. 3. He’s not going No. 3. Breaking news, Shedeur is not going there. We can dismiss that from the equation.” The insider also added, “They are happy to sit where they are and take the best players available. I’m just telling you that’s where they’re at.” The reaction came up after Shedeur’s performance at Colorado Pro Day.

Lots of NFL franchises pointed out that Shedeur doesn’t have great arm strength. He pats the ball before a throw, which is an outdated technique, according to some scouts. Though Sanders also responded by sending a message, “Fool not to pick me,” that did not stop the top three NFL teams in the draft from ignoring Shedeur.

The NFL draft is in the pipeline. Let’s see which NFL team picks Shedeur up. But before that, let’s take a look at how football fans reacted to Shedeur’s jewelry show-off.

One fan commented, “Already spent the signing bonus.” While another fan sarcastically said, “Seems like a good use of money.” But one of the comments also pointed out what would happen on the draft night, maybe it would be the worst thing for Shedeur, saying, “It’s going to feel really heavy when he has to drag it out of there without getting drafted tonight!!!!! LOL!!!!!” That was brutal.

“Holy ego 😭.” This is what one of the fans said on that post. And Shedeur’s fan replied to that comment saying, “Ego for wearing a chain 😭 holy dr.” And after that, a fan’s nasty comment came: “Corresponding to his draft spot of 100. 🤣🤣🤣.” As the chain was around $100K, the fans wanted to troll the future superstar with the 100th overall pick. Well, it’s a fact that Shedeur is skidding down in the draft picks. At one time, two months ago, the analysts were projecting Shedeur as first overall. But that strong feeling faded away, and the Titans selected Cam Ward as their first overall.

Well, let’s see what happens to Shedeur Sanders. He could continue to rise as one of college football’s most dynamic quarterbacks. Also, handles the immense pressure and proves he has what it takes to transition to the next level. A lot is riding on his performance. Not just for his future, but for the growing legacy of his father, Deion Sanders.
