The Ravens aren’t used to playing in the snow, and it showed. It’s these fine margins that make the difference in playoff football. A heartbreaking loss by just two points. They were in the game all along. But one player in particular lost the plot in crunch time. TE Mark Andrews made some horrible mistakes in the divisional game against the Bills. What Mark Andrews did in the 4th quarter of the game was irresponsible, unfortunate, and an overall gut punch to the comeback his flock was making. The result? It cost the Ravens their season. The Buffalo Bills have entered the conference round and will fight against the mighty Chiefs. So, what did Mark Andrews do in the fourth quarter?

Halfway through the quarter, with the score 24-19 to the Bills, Mark Andrews received the ball in Territory for a 16-yard gain after a perfect throw from Lamar Jackson. But instead of trying to secure the yards and go again, he tried to juke the defenders in hopes of eking out a few more yards. Well, it didn’t come off, and he had the ball punched out of his grip and it went right into the opponent’s hands. Terrible!

Fans could see the Ravens players also react when Andrews made that mistake. They knew, just like the ball, the game was slipping from their grip. But they got another chance. Lamar ain’t the reigning MVP for nothing. Under the 2-minute warning, he dragged the Ravens back into contention with a 24-yard TD to Isaiah Likely. Score 27-25. A 2-point try to go level. Jackson did his part. He threw to his tight end who was in space. However, falling backward over the goal line, Mark Andrews let the ball slip from his grip. Game over.

It was an underserved ending to an otherwise bright season for him. After the ugly play, the Ravens TE is receiving backlash across the internet.
