Things are getting out of hand for the Bears, whether it is on the field or off the field. The Bears’ fans were already heated up after Matt Eberflus’ controversial timeout move in the Week 11 game against the Packers and now CBS broadcaster Jim Nantz is facing backlash after fumbling his name.

While calling, Nantz mistakenly referred to Eberflus as “Matt Eberfloos.” That sparked a wave of reactions from the fans who are already on the edge following a tough season for the Bears.

When the Bears were in position for a game-winning field goal, Eberflus chose not to risk running another play to gain more yards. Instead, he let the clock run down to set up the kick, which ended up being blocked by the Packers. Following their defeat against the Detroit Lions, Eberflus’ Bears are now sitting at 4-7.

And just when Eberflus thought the fire was cooling down, another drama came knocking—and this time, it was off the field. While it’s no surprise that Nantz is facing backlash from fans, the mispronunciation of Eberflus’s name piled on more trouble for the coach, giving the fans even more reason to criticize him.

Understandably, the fans are not leaving any chance to mock him as it seems it could be his last season as a coach of the Bears. You could say fans are ready to get him kicked out of Chicago!

Bears fans, what's more frustrating: Eberflus's decisions or Nantz's mispronunciation?

Have an interesting take?

As the Chicago Bears continue their underwhelming results, nothing is going right for them and the social media drama for the coach Eberflus is an add on. Likewise, fans are letting their frustration spill over onto social media. Someone just took a jab at the Bears’ dismal season, stating, “Can we fire Ebberflus at halftime? Jim Nantz can’t pronounce his name.”

Well, fans are not forgiving for that error as one fan chimed in and said, “Jim Nantz is right to not know how to pronounce ‘Eberflus.’ The dude’s fired tomorrow anyway. Byeeee.” Seems like the talk of the town is, the HC’s coaching time for the Bears is coming to an end.

Moving forward, we’ve got some creativity as well, with one throwing in a mockery of the whole situation stating, “Turrible.” It reminds me of Charles Barkley’s playful commentary when he mocks a poor play. Well, that also goes with the situation Eberflus is in.

And of course, someone has decided to take the name mishap to an another level, calling the coach, “Ebberflooz.” It’s clear that the Chicago Bears’s fans are ready and demanding for a change, and they’re not shy about sharing their opinion on social media at all.
