In an appearance on ESPN Radio, Chris Canty shared his opinion about the Bears quarterback. He believes the Bears’ quarterback is in the best situation with more raw materials to work with than Daniels in Washington. Following the conversation, he even mentioned players supporting Williams this season.

Canty questioned why everyone thinks Jayden Daniels will outperform Caleb Williams. “From a talent standpoint, he’s got a lot more raw materials to work with than Jayden Daniels in Washington. Why are we supposed to believe that Jayden Daniels is going to show so much better than Caleb Williams in their rookie years,” Canty said.

Canty believes the Bears are fielding a strong offense that includes DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, and Rome Odunze. He thinks these game plans are designed to highlight Williams’ strengths and minimize the rookie’s challenges.

Have an interesting take?

DJ Moore, who has performed well even with a quarterback with limited experience, could be a key player for the Bears. Moore demonstrated a strong trust with starting quarterback Kyle Allen in 2019. In his time with the Panthers, he had 1175 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns that season.

On the other hand, Keenan Allen stands strong to support the team with a career total of more than 10, 000 rushing yards and 59 touchdowns. In 2017, he had a total of 1393 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns, playing alongside veteran quarterback Philip Rivers, which reflects his importance for the rookie quarterback.

Rome Odunze has not yet performed in the NFL. But his college career at Washington Huskies has highlighted his potential. Odunze’s overall college career, with a total of 3060 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns, raises expectations to become a game-changer for the Bears.
