DAWGS in the building! That’s how almost all the Eagles’ fans reacted to NFL Prime’s recent update on the Eagles. The Super Bowl LIX champions are known for their fierce defense, Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts’s clear-minded leadership, Saquon Barkley‘s monstrous rushing touchdowns, and whatnot. But hold on for a bit. There is one more aspect that the Eagles have developed as their identity in recent years. There’s more enhancement in that aspect.

Well, as per a report posted by ‘NFL on Prime’ on March 16, there are now 13% of Georgia Bulldogs’ players in the Eagles locker room. Just one word can describe it- Insane! There is a long history of Georgia Bulldogs hitting the NFL’s gridiron- Mo Lewis, Lenn Hauss, Jake Scott, Richard Seymour, Terrell Davis, and the list continues. But in the context of Nick Sirianni’s Eagles, the love for Bulldogs is different.

With the recent addition, the tally goes to 13%. Wanna know the Bulldogs players in the Eagles locker room? Well, first name is Lewis Cine. The Minnesota Vikings picked the former Georgia Bulldog safety up from the 2022 NFL drafts. In the 2024 season, the 25-year-old safety was traded to the Bills. From there, the Eagles signed him for the 2025 season.

The 2nd name would be the 25-year-old defensive tackle Jordan Davis. He played for the Bulldogs from 2018 to 2021 and the Eagles picked him up as the 13th overall from the 1st round of  2022 NFL drafts. Since then Davis never let Nick Sirianni think about his trade.

And guess who the third one is? It’s Kelee Ringo, the Eagles’ draft pick from the 2023 season. The 22-year-old cornerback is full of energy and ready for another Super Bowl run.

As for the fourth Bulldog in the Eagles’ locker room, that would be Jalen Carter. The 23-year-old defensive tackle is another powerhouse from the Georgia Bulldogs. He played there from 2020 to 2022, and 2023 became his life-changing year when the Eagles selected him in the first round of the NFL Draft.

What’s your perspective on:

Are the Eagles building a dynasty with their Bulldogs-heavy roster, or is it just a gamble?

Have an interesting take?

The fifth and sixth names on the list are fan favorites—Nakobe Dean and Nolan Smith Jr. Everyone remembers Dean sacking top quarterbacks during the 2024-25 season. He has been with the Eagles since entering the big leagues in 2022. During his stint with the Georgia Bulldogs, Smith won the CFP national championships twice.

It’s actually interesting to see how Nick Sirianni is picking up young defenders from one of the top college teams. This year, the Eagles added another player from the Bulldogs. Let’s dive in!

The Eagles are signing him to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million. He and Saquon Barkley were teammates at the New York Giants, as the linebacker was the Giants’ pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
