Heard about the new sheriff in town? Here we go! Ever since the Cleveland Browns defensive end, Myles Garrett has declared that he wants to be outside Cleveland, tons of franchises have reached the star defensive player in the league. “At this point in my career, I want to have more postseason success. I want the opportunity to at least go out there and compete and contend. I don’t think that’s possible where we are now.” And the possibilities have snowballed and landed in the city of Buffalo.
Buffalo Bills insiders have confirmed the franchise has contacted the Browns regarding Myles Garrett. This has sparked a new debate in the town as to who will need a strong and statistically powerful defensive player like Garrett. Imagine, an NFL team was not able to enter into the playoffs, but their defensive player still ranks among the best for stats on his end. Myles Garrett made 14 sacks in 2024, for which he ranks 2nd in the league. And along with that he made 40 solo tackles and forced three fumbles in 2024. So, who would not want such a versatile 29-year-old defender in their team?

The Bills are no exception, joining the open interest from the Minnesota Vikings. But they aren’t the only two. According to Browns Nation, three top contenders are interested in Myles Garrett. Buffalo and Minnesota are joined by the Philadelphia Eagles, who are extremely interested in the DE. Man, just imagine Garrett being on the defensive line of the Eagles led by Vic Fangio. But wait, do you know which team Garrett is interested in?
Garrett is himself interested in the Washington Commanders. How? Look what the Browns DE said to Sports Illustrated. “I think they need a pass rusher. I think that’s something that they dearly missed there in the playoffs and some of their big games.” Garrett also added, “And I feel like I can fill that role. But you know that’s a role that multiple teams need, and I feel like I am not only a pass rusher, but I think I’m the best defensive player in the game.”
But hold on. There are more updates/messages left for Myles Garrett. Vikings star wideout Justin Jefferson has made a strong demand for Myles Garrett.

Justin Jefferson’s strong message for Myles Garrett amid trade rumors
As y’all know the Minnesota Vikings are also interested in the DE. Their WR has made a huge and friendly demand for the pass rusher. Justin Jefferson was asked about his message to Myles Garrett as he had made a trade request to the Browns. Jefferson felt happy to say: “Myles, you know where to go, brother. Hey, we need one, or two extra pieces, and you’ll fill in that piece. We need you.” Well, this seems fit as Garrett’s heart is beating for the city of Minnesota. But there is a little problem.

Jordan Plocher of Pro Football Focus has predicted that the Dallas Cowboys would pick Garrett up as the team is in new spirits. And also, Garrett would be a way better fit alongside Micah Parsons. In the return for Myles, the Browns would get the Cowboys’ first pick (12th overall) of the 2025 NFL draft and a first rounder of 2026. It’s also said that the Browns are likely to pick Abdul Carter of Penn State or Michigan cornerback Will Johnson from the 2025 NFL draft.

Wait, that’s only IF the trade happens as predicted. Otherwise, all speculations would look like nonsensical rumors. Well, in that sense it would be interesting to see where Myles Garrett lands up as the Browns GM Andrew Berry is not interested in trading an experienced star player. He’ll squeeze the most he can out of any potential trade, with interest running high.
