As the season rolls into Week 15, the Cleveland Browns have a tragic story. They have recorded victories in only three out of 13 games and rank last in the AFC North. As the franchise’s situation is horrible this season, all eyes are on HC Kevin Stefanski and GM Andrew Berry. In a recent interaction with insiders, the owner of the Cleveland Browns has shared an important update on what will happen to HC and GM’s future at the end of the postseason.

After Kevin was asked about his future with the franchise, he said that he wouldn’t comment on specific conversations but said that ownership has been “constantly supportive.” According to insider Dianna Russini, “Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski are going to be safe—they are going to come back next year.” Adding to the conversation, reporter Scott Petrak recently shared an update on X: “#Browns coach Kevin Stefanski on owner Jimmy Haslam telling ESPN he has right pieces in place with Stefanski and GM Andrew Berry: Ownership has been constantly supportive.

Jimmy Haslam, the owner of the Browns, has believed in both the HC and GM, but experts and fans have not approved this. With their season shattered, people demand a decisive change, either in the team or the coaching staff. The Browns had a terrible offense this season. The team was dependent on QB Deshaun Watson, but he ended up with a bad performance at the start. Watson has suffered an injury that happened in the week 7 game against the Bengals.

Apart from this, another speed breaker is, Haslam’s franchise has been in financial turbulence, as per reports. But hope they will figure it out. Besides this, there’s going to be another opportunity for team management in the 2025 NFL drafts.

Draft will be conducted in the coming April per reports, and the Browns can aim for the best. And it’s quite realistic, as the owner has told ESPN recently, in the context of QB, “We need to get through the season and we will look at everything.”

Kevin Stefanski’s unusual 2024 season with the Browns

Do you know one of Stefanski’s biggest achievements with the Browns? He has won the ‘NFL Coach of the Year Award‘ twice, in 2020 and 2023. Despite the challenges this season, his contributions to Cleveland have been immense and undeniable. During his tenure, the team has made two playoff appearances, although they lost both games—one in a wild-card matchup and the other in a divisional round against the Chiefs.
