The star player of the Phins Tyreek Hill hurt his left ankle in the first quarter and didn’t come back until the third quarter. Sadly, his return didn’t change the outcome as his team lost to the Titans 27-28. He said that he’s determined to come back even though he is injured, as he knows at the end it is the result that matters and not the injuries. He mentioned, “Nobody’s going to give you pity for being injured. My mindset is I’m going. I am going to get some scans. But I don’t want to sit out. I want to help this team.”
Although Hill vowed to help Miami in the best possible way, it’s important to note that with this Week 14 loss, the Phins’ opportunity to secure the top spot in the AFC. However, pushing aside the unfortunate exit from the gridiron, Hill remains a fans-favorite in Miami, evident in the latest injury episode where spectators joined in calling him an “MVP.”

The Dolphins played most of their MNF game without their star receiver Tyreek Hill, and it surely made a noticeable difference on the scoreboard. In the first quarter, Hill caught a short pass but got tackled with a hip-drop move by Sean-Murphy Bunting, leading to a temporary injury. He left the field with about 3 minutes remaining in the first quarter. However, as he was stepping off the field, Miami fans chanted “MVP” pointing at the athlete, probably wanting him to stay.
Despite the situation, the Phins had to punt the ball away, but then the Titans took over, as they got the ball at their 14-yard line. The Phins were leading 7-0 when Hill got injured, when soon by halftime it shifted to 10-7 in the favor of the Titans. Hill made a comeback to the field with a loud cheer from the crowd with 6 minutes and 43 seconds remaining in the clock in the third quarter.

Without the star receiver’s great display this time, the Dolphins’ offense didn’t have the usual excitement and explosive plays that have been a key feature for them this season. Besides Hill, other Phins players like running back Raheem Mostert, wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, cornerback Xavien Howard, and center Connor Williams, also rolled out of the game due to injuries in the first quarter itself. However, Mostert, Waddle, and Howard returned in the next drive.
