This Super Bowl will be different for the Chiefs. Travis Kelce and the squad are going into the game without someone for the first time, first time since the literal existence of the franchise. There are just days left for the climax of the season. And the KC squad despite having a below-average season are in it.

Norma Hunt, wife of late Chiefs founder Lamar Hunt, passed away in June. The Chiefs’ matriarch was the only woman to attend every Super Bowl. The 85-year-old was closely related to the franchise with her charitable work, and it’s natural that her presence would be deeply missed at the Super Bowl LVIII.

The sixth presser ahead of the Big Game is underway. The mood is a little bit mellow. Travis Kelce just spoke about Norma Hunt. She also holds a remarkable streak of attending Super Bowls for a record 57 years. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, who has known her for almost four decades, called her “a significant presence in the NFL.”
