But the 3-time Super Bowl winner, Julian Edelman, opined on the December 18 episode of The Herd with Colin Cowherd, “This year will determine if you are a 30 million dollar quarterback or a 50 million dollar quarterback, and through the whole year it looks like he’s a 30 million dollar quarterback. Which is a great quarterback, he’s a good football player, but we’re seeing his limitations when guys aren’t playing, and when there’s excuses.”

Well, Brock Purdy took them to the Super Bowl in his second year in the NFL. But things have flipped this year. With a 6-8 win-loss record after week 15, the chances of the playoff are slim. Almost negligible! In 13 games this year, he has 247 of 380 passes (65% completion rate) in 3,174 passing yards with 15 touchdowns and 9 interceptions.
