Brittany Mahomes has been opening up about her health issues lately. But she’s not just highlighting the issues, she’s talking about solutions as well! And on a recent story, she partnered up with a special brand to address her family’s food allergy concerns. And it’s not just the adults in the family, but her little ones as well.
This comes a day after she took to Instagram to speak about her skin condition. Even as Mahomes’ son, Bronze, is getting the family excited through his physical feats, there are some concerns.

The thrill of seeing your child take their first steps is unmatched. And for Brittany, Bronze has taken it to the next level by not just walking, but “literally sprinting” around the house, as she revealed in her Instagram stories. This new milestone has brought a wave of changes, particularly because they’re navigating these exciting times as a “food allergy family”. Patrick Mahomes revealed in 2021 that he’s allergic to most nuts.
Now that Bronze is on the move, his newfound independence means he’s reaching for everything within grasp. “So, we’ve obviously had to be a little more cautious about things that are in his reach in his surroundings,” especially given their constant travels and even just moving through different spaces at home. This is where she introduced her brand partner. Keeping her Auvi-Q close at hand is part of a proactive approach, ensuring the family is always ready to respond if needed, said Brittany.
However, this is not the only thing that’s been on Brittany’s mind lately.
Brittany “struggling” with a skin condition
Brittany Mahomes got real about her skincare struggles. Recently, through her Instagram stories, she invited her followers into a side of her life that’s often kept private. She pointed out the areas on her face that have been particularly troubling. Opening up, she shared, “Actually really struggling with my skin right now trying to figure out why it’s just breaking out all around my mouth like I’m allergic to something, but cannot figure it out.”
The root of her skin woes remained a puzzle, prompting her to reach out to her followers. “I have no idea what’s causing it. I feel like I’ve changed everything that I use, and I have no idea. So if anyone does know or has recommendations, please let me know.” Eventually, it led to a diagnosis of Perioral Dermatitis, a common adult skin condition. With a name to her ailment, Brittany said, “I’m pretty positive I have Perioral Dermatitis. I am going to a dermatologist tomorrow to figure out what I need to do.”
With her having fractured her back as well a few weeks back, here’s hoping that the Mahomes family remains healthy through the coming years.
