The current NFL champions, Kansas City Chiefs, have started 2024 with an emphatic 20-27 win over the Baltimore Ravens in game one. As expected, Patrick Mahomes had shown great form in the first week’s performance. However, surprising as it may sound, his wife Brittany Mahomes has stolen the spotlight with her recent social media post.

In her post, Brittany shared a snap of their new pet starfish. The post came along with a caption that read, “Our new cool addition to our aquarium” The aquarium in question has been quite intriguing for the loyal fans of the couple. Last year during the house tour on the Netflix series “Quarterback“, Mahomes showcased a picture of his house that had a pool, a movie theatre, and a massive aquarium.

Back in January, Brittany welcomed two new “Nemo” look-alike clown fishes in the same aquarium. However, their stay inside there was short-lived, as after a few days, she announced her decision to get rid of both of those fish.

According to a video she posted on social media, the Nemos seemed to be very assertive with their other friends in the underwater community within the Mahomes’ home. Brittany said, “We don’t have bullies in this tank… I’m getting rid of them… Jerks”.

But the clownfishes weren’t the only pets she lost recently. However, this time around, the loss was not voluntary for Mrs. Mahomes.

Brittany Mahomes heartbroken after a duck tragedy

During the offseason back in June, the Mahomes family had when through a terribly heartbreaking scenario after a raccoon allegedly broke the eggs of their pet duck. While revealing this incident, Brittany Mahomes said, “It was a raccoon at 4:30 am this morning. I’m so sad.”

This came just a day following the 29-year-old entrepreneur, unable to hold up her excitement, announced that their pet duck was set to give birth to her ducklings. In her announcement, he said, “Our pet duck is gonna have 9 babies can’t wait to see them.” Later, Brittany also mentioned that one of those eggs cracked and that the duck would have eight ducklings.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are lifelong pet lovers. Apart from that Duck, they also have two dogs, Steel and Silver, and a huge aquarium inside their house which has a few fishes and now a starfish as its latest addition.
