Brittany Mahomes entered The Kelly Clarkson Show in Johnny Cash style. The fitness enthusiast shared the scary experience and the uphill battle Mahomes underwent with their children’s allergies. She said, “My oldest daughter Sterling, when she was younger, had an allergic reaction to milk.

The quirky Mahomes then lightened the atmosphere and shared which name Patrick Mahomes likes to call their son. This was regarding her second child, Bronze. She continued, “So when I had my second child. Patrick Mahomes III (3rd), I have to say his (son’s name) real name, or his dad will get mad. His name is Patrick; we call him Bronze…” Well, the 2x Super Bowl champ likes to call their son by his full name.

Brittany gave birth to her second child in November 2022 days before she and Patrick, 28, announced that their little one’s name is Patrick Lavon Mahomes III with a pic of the newborn next to a jeweled chain with the word “Bronze” on it. Brittany’s second child’s official name is “Patrick Lavon Mahomes III,” named after his grandfather and father. But who came up with his nickname Bronze?

Patrick Mahomes told TMZ that his brother, Jackson, was the one to land on the nickname because it was a little unique and different and fit perfectly with Sterling.

On the Kelly Clarkson Show, Brittany then recalled an incident about Bronze’s allergies, saying, “So when he was able to start eating food, we kind of introduced some things. We got through milk, we got through eggs, we were on the first day of peanuts, and within minutes, he kind of started to get fussy. So, I thought he was just tired.

Brittany recalled that she was shocked to see hives everywhere when she took off his diaper and within minutes it began to swell and cover his whole body.” They had to rush him to the emergency room (fearing a reaction to the throat), but Bronze turned out to be fine. This incident happened last August, and peanuts might be the reason behind Bronze’s allergy.
