Patrick Mahomes is heartbroken! After experiencing a series of wins on the field, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is witnessing some high-profile losses this offseason. Earlier this month, the co-owner of Alpine F1 saw Pierre Gasly struggle during a car race at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone. Now, once again, the Royals’ co-owner faces a setback.
Away from the field, the 28-year-old is a part owner of KC Royals. He immediately committed 10 million dollars to his initial ownership share after getting a mega contract from his team in 2020. At that he mentioned that he is “honored to become a part owner” of the team. But today’s result might have disappointed the NFL star, as wife Brittany Mahomes revealed his post-game expression, while playfully laughing at him.
All the cheers went into despair!

Teoscar Hernández is the new MLB home champion, defeating “Kansas City Royals star Bobby Witt Jr. in the final round of the home run derby at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on Monday night.” Before the game, Mahomes tweeted on his official X account, writing “Bobby” in support of the MLB star. However, after Witt Jr. lost the game, Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, shared her husband’s post-game reaction, and it was hilarious!
In a recent story on her Instagram on July 15, 2024, Brittany Mahomes shared a picture of Patrick Mahomes watching Witt Jr. during the Home Run Derby finals. In the snap, the quarterback, wearing a hoodie and black shorts, can be seen standing in front of the TV with his hands on his hips and legs spread wide, showing a perplexed expression after the loss.
The expecting mother tagged Mahomes and KC Royals, captioning the picture “Power stance” with a laughing emoji. She also tagged the losing team, KC Royals in her story.

Teoscar Hernández then faced Bohm in a thrilling tiebreaker, both hitting 14 home runs each to advance. Witt, despite a slow start and a timeout, matched Hernández with 11 home runs in regulation. However, he fell short in the bonus round, missing his first two attempts and finishing with 13 home runs. Ultimately, Hernández’s 14 home runs secured him the championship title.
The MLB’s All-Star weekend will conclude with the All-Star Game on Tuesday night, with regular season action resuming on Friday. Hope Patrick Mahomes’ team gets this one!
