Soon after the Chiefs post surfaced on social media, within no time, Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, also expressed her adoration for Travis Kelce’s new deal. Taking to the comment box, the co-owner of the Kansas City, wrote “LETS GOOOOO” with the clapping emojis.
In a Twitter post, TE pal and NFL QB Patrick Mahomes also took to congratulate Kelce for staying with the team, having a playoff record of 24-21. Mahomes exhibited his exhilaration by resharing the post of the national insider for NFL Network, congratulating him. “I told yall I’ll never let him leave!! The original Ian Rapoport @RapSheet’s post caption reads, “No more Champagne Problems: The #Chiefs and All-Pro and Pro Bowl TE Travis Kelce have agreed to terms on a new 2-year contract extension to make him the NFL’s highest-paid tight end, sources say. According to the recent report, Mike Simon, Kelce’s longtime agent, arranged the deal. NFL journalist Tom Pelissero reported, “Kelce now has guaranteed money in 2024, with additional money vesting year-by-year. He’s signed through 2027, when he’ll be 38.”

And then he received an extension of his contract with the Chiefs in 2020 when he signed a 4-year, $57.25 million contract with the team. And now, once again, he has decided to stay with the chief for the next two years.
Kelce, who was drafted by the Chiefs in the third round of the 2013 NFL draft, has earned Pro Bowl selections every year since 2015. With a career spanning over 12 years, it includes 907 receptions, 11,328 receiving yards, and 74 touchdowns.
