Brittany Mahomes Hints at Patrick Mahomes to Join Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour After Travis Kelce Made His Stage Debut in London

If you thought the Eras Tour couldn’t give you anymore surprises, think again! As Travis Kelce stopped over at Wembley (and even made a surprise debut) for his lady love, it seems his friend Patrick Mahomes is gearing up to attend the concert too!

As per the latest update coming in from Brittany Mahomes’ Instagram, the family is currently vacationing in Portugal. So when the former soccer player decided to drop some BTS pictures, followers couldn’t help but wonder if the couple will make an appearance at the Eras Tour. “Queen, are you going to the Eras tour? My friends and I want to know,” read a hopeful comment. While the question was ignored by Brittany initially, after being prodded further by other fans, she dropped a subtle hint by replying, “👀👀👀”. Swift’s next three shows are scheduled at Dublin (on June 28, 29 and 30) at the Aviva Stadium, which is less than three hours away from the Mahomes family’s current location.

And it’s not like Brittany and her husband are averse to the idea. Even last year in July, they proudly declared themselves as ‘Swifites’ after attending the Arrowhead Stadium concert. And not just that! The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has also shared his respect and admiration for the Reputation singer, so there’s no reason why he wouldn’t make a quick stop to have some more fun!

In an interview with Time Magazine from April this year, the Super Bowl Champion appreciated Swift’s down-to-earth nature despite her massive stardom. “I’ve met a lot of famous people now in my life. Taylor’s probably the most down-to-earth person that’s been on that stage for that long. She’s never not working. Even when she’s taking her downtime, she’s working on something. Shooting a music video or singing a song or writing a song. You can see it by how she talks,” he revealed. Mahomes’ words do stand true as, in 2023 alone, the singer-songwriter released two re-recorded albums, namely Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) on July 7, and Speak Now (Taylor’s version) on October 27, while managing her Eras Tour that started in March that year, while also showing up to support her Kelce on the gridiron.

On that note, the 28-year-old QB also appreciated Swift’s eagerness to learn about her boyfriend’s profession, saying, “Even when she’s talking about football, when she’s learning it, you can see her business mind putting it together. It’s almost like she’s trying to become a coach. ‘Why can’t you try this, this, and this?’ She’s asking the right questions.” The 34-year-old popstar’s interest in the NFL has certainly worked its magic, not just from an educational perspective, but also from a business standpoint. When Taylor Swift showed up to the KC Chiefs vs Chicago Bears showdown in September last year, 24.3 million people tuned in to watch, setting a record for the most watched NFL game that week on any network. Then fast forward to her attending the Kansas’ Clash against the New York Jets the next week, and a staggering 27 million were watching it live. That was the most-watched Sunday show since the Super Bowl.

Safe to say that Patrick and Brittany reuniting with Kelce and Swift would be nothing short of a festive gala! Who knows, the three-time Super Bowl MVP might also take the stage just like his friend did recently!

Travis Kelce gave audiences the surprise of the century!

When headlines suggested Travis Kelce would be travelling from Cannes to London to attend his beloved’s show, many expected him to just stay within the VIP section, rock some friendship bracelets, and dance the night away. And that’s exactly what he did on June 22. However, as June 23 rolled by, Kelce was nowhere near his usual spot. Instead, he was up on the stage, donning a Victoria-inspired tuxedo, and performing a skit alongside his girlfriend.

Instead of any backup dancer, it was Kelce who lifted the singer in his arms and made his way across the stage. After that, Travis Kelce set Swift down on a red couch and proceeded to maintain his act before the next song, “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart”.

In return, the singer also gave a wholesome shoutout to her boyfriend by changing the lyrics to her song ‘Karma’! Replacing the word ‘screen’ with Chiefs, Swift sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me”. 

The football tight end’s cameo on the stage is not just a mere cameo, though. To many, it was also about being a supportive partner that can stick to their significant other no matter what. Sports analyst Pat McAfee encapsulated that same emotion, when he tweeted, “Once again…I can’t help but feel a phenomenal sense of pride. None of the other bums Taylor has been with would ever be this prepared and poised in front of 90,000 people while wearing that costume.. A football man proving to the world that chivalry is not dead.. and you’re allowed to be pumped to support your partner.”

Perhaps we will see more of Travis Kelce cameo’s moving forward. And, maybe, just maybe, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes will witness the performance live the next time. Chiefs safety Justin Reid also took to highlight on his IG Stories that he’s traveling through Europe, as an epic Chiefs reunion at one of Swift’s concerts seems likely.
