Do you know how it feels when your job is in danger? No? Well! You may ask Brian Daboll about it. Yes, you heard correctly: the Giants’ head coach might be sacked soon. But why and when? So it all started on ESPN’s Get Up show with a remark from an ex-NFL player.
Here we are talking about Chris Canty, who was on the show. When asked about Brian Daboll and his future with the Giants, the former athlete abruptly snapped. “[Brian Daboll] is toast. He’s done. He’s the biggest loser coming out of last night. … Daniel Jones has a better chance of being back next year than Brian Daboll does.” Canty expressed frustration, demonstrating how terrible the situation is with the Giants and Daboll.

The head coach is presently in his third season with the Giants and has yet to make a significant impact. The team’s cumulative record throughout these three seasons is 16 wins and 21 defeats. And we all know that this is pretty bad. Because of these records and poor results, every finger of blame right now is pointed at the HC. This is why everyone, including Canty, believes that the team may fire him in the future.
The ex-NFL player on the show emphasized the HC’s faults during the last Giants’ match. Canty noted that there were times throughout the game when things did not go the Giants’ way. At that time, there were some steps that the HC should have taken, but they were made too late. Until then, the game had gotten away from the team, and the Cowboys had a firm grip on it.

Aside from that, even the players of the Giants are no longer listening to the head coach. Yep, and the reason you may ask? Let’s take a look at it.
Brian Daboll’s job right now is hanging on a thread.
You heard that correctly. ESPN reporter Jordan Raanan confirmed that certain players do not listen to the head coach. The primary reason for this is the threat to his job security. This is turning out to be a really difficult scenario for Daboll right now. He is surrounded by problems such as low performance from the team and players not even listening to him.

The reporter stated, “I’ve spoken to guys over the past few days–a bunch of guys, a handful of guys–and some of them, not all of them, said how it’s starting to get shaky in there,” Raanan mentioned this during a recent episode of Big Breaking Blue. Fans of the Giants have acknowledged that their team would have a rough path this season. If the team retains the same coach, then the current problems will continue to happen. But even a new coach won’t be much help when the season is already underway.
And we all know how long it takes for a new coach to settle in. Only time will tell what the team’s management is thinking of doing.
