Brian Callahan’s Titans‘ wide receiver room has been a revolving door lately. Injuries, roster shake-ups, and big-name additions—it’s been a wild ride. Treylon Burks suffered a season-ending knee injury in the last season and is still recovering, Van Jefferson just arrived on a one-year deal, and Calvin Ridley? Well, he’s expected to be the go-to guy. But with all the moving pieces, Tennessee isn’t done tweaking just yet.

Oh no, they’re expecting a visit today. In fact, the NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported on Wednesday that the fifth-year wide receiver, Rondale Moore, is visiting the team today. Yeah, you read that right. “WR Rondale Moore is visiting the #Titans today, source says,” he reported on his official ‘X’ handle.

Moore entered the pros after the Arizona Cardinals drafted him with second-round 49th overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft. The wideout spent his first three seasons in Arizona having recorded 135 catches for 1,201 yards and three touchdowns. But let’s be real—the 26-year-old just failed to keep up that second-round pick hype with the Cardinals. The result?

After spending three seasons in Arizona, Moore was traded to the Atlanta Falcons. And if you thought that was gonna be his big breakout—yeah, not so much. Even before the 2024 regular season kicked off, Moore suffered a knee injury and had to miss out on the whole season. Guess the Falcons didn’t see that one coming.

Fast forward to now, and the guy’s practically on an NFL road trip, visiting teams left and right in search of a new deal. Could the Titans snag him in free agency? Sure, but let’s be real—their WR room is a disaster zone. They had DeAndre Hopkins, but first, he got shipped to the Chiefs, and now he’s chilling on a one-year deal with the Ravens.

And to make matters worse, their passing game was an absolute mess last season—ranking 27th in total offense with just 304.2 yards per game. Yeah, the Titans need help. Badly. And signing Moore could be a decent option for Brian Callahan and the Titans. The kicker? Well, prior to his scheduled meet with the Titans, Moore met with the Chicago Bears, New York Jets, and the Minnesota Vikings. That means the Falcons are no longer interested in the fifth-year wideout who’s now recovered from his injury.

After visiting the Vikings and probably not getting a deal-done, Moore reportedly visited the Bears a couple of days ago. The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on his official ‘X’ handle his visit, writing, “FA WR Rondale Moore, who visited the Vikings last week, is visiting the Bears today, per me and Mike Garafolo.” Well, the Bears are surely looking to fill out their wide receiver room.

What’s your perspective on:

Can Rondale Moore be the game-changer the Titans need, or just another name in the mix?

Have an interesting take?

With DJ Moore and Rome Odunze already in the mix, the Bears just added Olamide Zaccheaus for some extra depth at wide receiver. And judging by Ben Johnson’s moves, he’s not hitting the brakes anytime soon. However, considering Rondale Moore is still on a tour to find a new team, it’s safe to say the Bears are probably not interested in signing him.

But that’s not all. The Jets also hosted a visit on Tuesday for Moore. If the Jets are interested in signing him, the guy could join Garrett Wilson to bolster their O-line. Pff! A lot of visits in the past week for Moore. But deal in hand? Zero. That said, the 24-year-old WR is surely rooting for the Titans to sign him right about now. However, Brian Callahan has pretty bigger concerns right now.

Brian Callahan is probably having the QB nightmare

When the Tennessee Titans selected Will Levis in the 2023 NFL draft (with the 33rd overall pick in the second round), they probably thought, “We got our guy.” But nope, instead the team got a reality check. The Titans were looking for a franchise quarterback, but in return they just got another rookie QB. In his couple of seasons with the Tennessee team, Levis had a disastrous 5-16 record as a starter.

To pour gasoline on the fire, the guy threw 21 touchdowns to 16 interceptions in those games. YIKES! The result? The team replaced the QB with Mason Rudolph in the final leg of the regular season. Fast forward to now and even the replacement didn’t scream “franchise QB” considering Rudolph has now packed his bags and is already off to Pittsburgh.

No surprise then, the team’s taking the trade calls for their QB. According to Josina Anderson of CBS Sports, the Titans are reportedly taking calls in hopes of trading Levis. “I was just told these two quarterback names came up in recent preliminary trade inquiries or internal discussions, per a league source: Kirk Cousins and Will Levis,” Anderson posted on his X handle. “The Titans would like to transition.”

Well, the transition could work for Brian Callahan and the Titans. However, the odds are favoring that the team’s looking to draft a QB with their first overall pick in April. Cam Ward could be an option and it’s likely that the team would want to go ahead with a rookie.
