When I got hurt, I saw it as a possibility,” Brandon Graham said after his Week 12 injury against the Rams. The 36-year-old tore his triceps, and many initially believed his season was over. But his resilience changed the narrative. His words after the injury—”I talked to people, and they said it was a possibility. I rehabbed as hard as I could… so when the time came, they would give me the chance“—proved to be true.

Super Bowl LIX is set to begin. The 2018 Super Bowl champions, the Eagles, will face off against the four-time Super Bowl-winning Chiefs. However, ahead of the biggest game of the season, the Eagles are grappling with a major setback—an injury-riddled roster. Before diving into which players are unlikely to take the field on February 9, defensive tackle Brandon Graham has shocked fans with an unexpected update.

On Saturday, the Eagles activated Brandon Graham. The defensive player said, “I know the risk. But the reward will be so much sweeter.” The star defender also added, “It’ll feel great because you worked your butt off to get back, I know the team worked their butt off to get here and I want to be there for them,” while having a convo with Yahoo Sports.

But will Graham’s return affect the team’s rhythm? So, when asked about Nolan Smith, Josh Sweat, and Jalyx Hunt and their chemistry on the field, Graham said, “I don’t want to get in the way of the rhythm of what everybody already has. If I can just add anything, I want to give everything I’ve got.” The Eagles‘ star defensive end has played 11 games in 2024 so far, recording 20 tackles, including 15 solo. He has sacked the opponent’s quarterback 3.5 times and forced one fumble. In his last game, on November 24, 2024, against the Rams, Graham registered two solo tackles and one sack.

So, it would be a great opportunity for Graham to go out there and do best for the team. But as Jalen Hurts’ Eagles entered beast mode to tackle Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs, their injuries couldn’t catch a break. Wanna know which players have been listed on IR? Let’s dive in!

Well, Saquon Barkley’s absence wasn’t something to worry about. He was given the much-needed rest before the big game. Apart from that, Moro Ojomo’s full participation was a good vibe for the Iggles. He had an LP in the previous one. Brett Toth and C.J. Uzomah were also FP, among three full participants on the list.

It’s worrisome that the Eagles didn’t list Cam Jurgens and Landon Dickerson, two of their most dependable offensive players, as full participants. Both did not attend the practice sessions on the third day as well. Jurgens has injured his back while Dickerson is struggling with a knee injury.
