Denver Broncos star QB Bo Nix turned 25 this week! His wife, Izzy Nix, ensured to celebrate it with great zest. The couple has remained by each other’s side since crossing paths at Auburn University. And, celebrating Bo’s golden birthday, as he turned 25 on the 25th, Izzy made sure to do it in a grand style.

Taking to her Instagram she shared a carousel of images while penning a heartfelt note for him. Izzy, a former gymnast and basketball player, posted stories on her IG account, @izzysmokenix, as she wrote, “He’s a leader and a man after God’s heart.” She continued, “Grateful for him today, but celebrating him forever.” She decorated her house with golden balloons, depicting the number 25. With packed gifts, and a “happy birthday” banner, she penned, “We have a golden birthday in the house.”

Izzy took to share images from her wedding, as she wished him “Happy Birthday, Bo.” In one of the stories, she also wrote, “24 will be hard to beat, but here’s to a million more birthdays!!!!!! [I love you, Bo Nix.]” Indeed, the past year marked significant milestones as he gave solid performances, raising the hopes of Broncos fans.

Bo and Izzy had met back in June 2020 at Auburn University. As Bo was the starting QB, and Izzy was a cheerleader, they quickly became inseparable. Later, he proposed to her at Jordan-Hare Stadium in July 2021, as he remarked, “I knew from the first moment I laid eyes on you that you were special. I cannot wait to be your husband. Here’s to forever with you, Izzy Smoke!” Tying knots in July 2022 at Ridge Point Events Venue in Alpine, Alabama, they continue to cherish each other.

Celebrating 25th birthday after Bo Nix’s incredible rookie season

Being drafted by the Broncos in April 2024, Izzy was not able to contain her emotions. As Bo Nix’s dream came true, she penned a heartfelt post, “The day I met Bo, he told me about this God-sized dream of his. I will never stop praising the Lord for His faithfulness or have enough words to express how proud I am of you, Bo. Overjoyed and honored to join Broncos country!!!” That’s adorable.

The former Oregon Ducks quarterback had an impressive season. His production? 3,775 passing yards, 29 touchdowns, 4 rushing touchdowns, and 430 rushing yards. And now he intends to take a step forward in his second season.

As he prepares for his first offseason as a full-time starter, he has a clear mindset. He remarked on Feb 17, “I’m going to attack it. We have a lot of building, and learning, and growing to do, so that’s what I’m very excited about.” As he turns 25, he seeks to put more effort into the second season.
