Bo Nix is making waves this NFL season. The 24-year-old is already in the race for one of the best QBs of the season, and the Broncos are doing surprisingly well too. Of course, one has to give some credit to Sean Payton. While the most games the team has won in the last nine years is only nine (kind of a funny coincidence). But this time, they’ve got a chance to change that. Sitting at the number three spot in the AFC West, the Broncos are at 8-5. The questions remains, though. Can they surpass nine wins this time, or will they keep their record disappointingly intact? Even though the pressure is on, the team is currently taking a much-needed breather.

After beating the Browns 41-32 in Week 13, Bo Nix and the squad headed off to enjoy their bye week. Now that they’ve got a short break before returning to the field, they’re making sure to spend some quality time with their families after missing Thanksgiving. The Broncos QB’s wife, Izzy Nix, shared with fans how they’re spending their bye week. Mrs. Nix shared a ‘delicious’ picture on her Instagram Stories, where she, Nix, and their friends can be seen enjoying pancakes. “Post game pancakes!!! aka, perfect start to the bye week”, Izzy wrote.

Nix and Izzy got married in July 2022. And it was as dreamy as one could imagine it to be! The couple had been dating since their university days. In fact, while Bo played for Auburn University’s football team, Izzy was a cheerleader for the team. Looks like Bo’s had his personal favorite cheerleader beside him since the start of his career! The couple is always seen enjoying every moment of their romance. They often share adorable pictures on their socials with their fans and flaunt their love.

Celebrating one year of their marriage, the star QB shared pictures from the big day and wrote, “Spent all week celebrating ONE year of marriage! Time has absolutely flown by. I will jump for joy with you everyday for the rest of my life. A man’s greatest treasure is his wife — she is a gift from the Lord.” – Proverbs 18:22. Izzy, you are and will always be my greatest gift”, he captioned.

The Bronco’s young QB is no doubt having a great time both on and off the field. His team has won three straight games, and the QB is having a perfect debut season. As the team grinds toward the playoffs, Bo’s got a message for his teammates.

Bo Nix is eyeing the playoff spot

The last time Broncos fans tasted Super Bowl victory was in 2016. It’s been 8 years since then. After that, they’ve barely won 6 or 7 games each season. Now, Bo Nix wants to take the Broncos on a ride to the Super Bowl. He needs to keep in mind that it’s not an easy ride. With about 2 months left in the season, the top teams have already locked in their playoff spots. The Broncos still have the Chiefs and Chargers ahead of them in their division.

So, with that in mind, the QB has a serious message for his teammates. After the win against the Browns, Nix told the press that the team had to make it to the playoffs. And he sounds pretty confident about it. Nix tells his team to put everything together and win the games, no matter what it takes.

Whether or not Nix’s motivational words work for the team, we’ll see. For now, they can enjoy their bye week and have plenty of pancakes. They’ll be back on the football field in Week 15 against the Colts.
