The Week 3 NFL season has begun! This time the Jacksonville Jaguars will travel to Buffalo to face off against Josh Allen’s team, the Bills. The game will kick off at 07:30 PM EDT at Highmark Stadium, and as per reports, the weather forecast doesn’t bode well for the game. Why? Well, rain showers are expected to commence during the game.
Yes! Western New York’s constant summer will come to a screeching halt this Monday, dipping into high temperatures and bringing a rainy evening football game for the fans. Besides this report, AccuWeather forecast predicted a breezy day with occasional rain and a high of about 71 degrees. According to it, overnight, “the temperatures will drop to around 62 degrees, and there might be evening showers or even a slight chance of thunderstorms.” So, that means, it’s shaping up to be a wet and cloudy day for the Bills and Jaguars clash!
Nevertheless, now the question is will the weather rain on any of the teams’ parades?

According to the Democrat & Chronicle publication, “Any kind of rain decreases production in the passing game by 12%, whether it’s light, moderate or heavy in severity.” Even field goals could also become trickier, with success rates dropping by about 2% for shorter attempts in slick conditions. However, this time, in this game, it’s speculated that there will be no impact on the results and favorites. This is because the Bills are favored with 70% chances of a win over Jags’ 30%. But there’s a twist!

Have an interesting take?
As per the NFL history, Buffalo has struggled against Jacksonville in recent years. Since Josh Allen became their quarterback, the Bills haven’t been able to beat the Jaguars, “losing 9-6 on the road in 2021 and 25-20 at home last October.” Nevertheless, overall Josh Allen’s team lead the series 9-8. But let’s not forget that the Jags have an upper hand in the playoffs, winning both Wildcard games in 1996 and 2018.
