Suspense looms large over Buffalo Bills star QB Josh Allen’s participation going into the big clash against Cincinnati Bengals. The 27-year-old QB wasn’t seen practicing during the warm-ups at the Paycor Stadium. Allen has been recovering from a shoulder injury which he suffered during the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week.

Instead, Bills’ backup QB Kyle Allen was seen throwing to the receivers at the practice. While the case may very well be that Allen is getting some extra downtime for his injured shoulder, his absence does surely raise a few eyebrows. This is an interesting development, keeping in mind that the 27-year-old had declared himself fit again, two days prior to the game.

It is also reported that their star QB Joe Burrow is suffering from a calf injury. When it comes to overall head-to-head battles, the Bills lead 17-16 over the Bengals in 33 games played so far. This makes the game even more interesting and Bills fans have all the rights to be concerned, given Josh Allen has been their premier performer in the NFL 2023 season so far.
