Week 3 was devastating for the Jacksonville Jaguars! The Jags, which came prepared this season with a sense of winning the games, as they did in their three 2024 preseason matchups, failed miserably on MNF.

The Buffalo Bills hosted the Jaguars at Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, on September 23. And they gave owner Shad Khan’s team a doomed welcome by winning Monday Night Football with a massive 47-10 score. With this win, Bills QB Josh Allen made Khan eat his words which he made last month.

Is it high time for Shad Khan to realize the reality?

Last month, owner Shad Khan was excited about the upcoming season and showed his full faith and confidence in his team. Not only that, in order to keep the team motivated, he locked quarterback Trevor Lawrence by paying him $275 million for five years. And amidst all this, the owner made sure to express his pride in his team publicly as well.

He said, “Winning now is the expectation. . . . Make no mistake, this is the best team assembled by the Jacksonville Jaguars, ever. Best players, best coaches. But most importantly, let’s prove it by winning now.”

Well, now after a huge blowout, the NFL fans think it was too early for Khan to speak on the Jaguars’ strength. They even pointed out that whatever Khan said about the team isn’t true at all, and that the owner needs to concentrate more on football than his other businesses. Ouch, that was a harsh one for sure! Well, the fans’ anger is somewhat justifiable as well, because the Jaguars have lost three consecutive regular games of this season. The latest one was against Josh Allen and the Bills.

Meanwhile, with this Monday loss, the dark clouds are also looming over Jacksonville head coach, Doug Pederson.

Jaguars coach Doug Pederson is on the hot seat now!

Doug Pederson was just steps away from NFL history not long ago. How? Well, twenty months ago, he was three wins away from becoming the first coach to win a Super Bowl with two different teams. But now, it feels like he’s on borrowed time with the Jaguars.

After a solid 8-3 start last year, they’ve dropped eight of their last nine games. The recent 47-10 blowout loss to Josh Allen and his team has left Jacksonville at 0-3 in 2024, and from here, things look bleak. As Jaguars owner Shad Khan made it clear this season is different, and winning is their expectation, the question is where’s the proof?

They blew a 17-7 lead against Miami in Week 1, followed by a disappointing loss to the Browns. And now, this crushing defeat in Buffalo. With these consecutive losses, coach Doug Pederson’s time could be running out fast.

And if it continues the same way in the upcoming two or three games, the reports suggest that Pederson would be fired. How do you think the future could pan out for Pederson and Jaguars? Let us know in the comments below.
