Joe Brady is a hot commodity now! The Buffalo Bills are going to face off against the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC divisional round. However, besides this, Brady’s promotion to head coaching job is among the favorite topics of the teams who are hunting for their new coach. So, the question is: are the Bills ready to open the doors for their offensive coordinator?

To figure out the same, on Friday, reporters asked coach Sean McDermott about his communication with Joe Brady and how he is taking up these. To which, the HC said, “At the end of the day, Joe has my full support. Number one, I think he has earned that.” The 50-year-old coach believes that whatever role is coming up for him, Brady has earned it.

But of course, the pain of potentially going far could be easily visible from his next comments. During this Friday’s presser, Sean McDermott further highlighted that everything should be balanced, focusing on what truly matters. He described Brady as a good person and an excellent coach who excels at keeping things organized and in order.

Joe Brady has helped the team’s offense in 2024. Under his guidance, the team ranks 10th in yards per game (131.2). In addition, Josh Allen has become this year’s leading candidate for MVP, with his 3,731 yards, 28 TDs, and just 6 INTs. That’s the reason why when the quarterback heard of Brady’s interviewing with other teams for the HC role, he came up with a humorous way to keep his OC in the Bills.

During a presser, when Josh Allen was asked how Joe Brady has helped him and his team’s offense, the QB replied, “Nothing. He hasn’t done anything for us. Teams should stay away from him.” Hilarious! It seems Allen, and perhaps McDermott too doesn’t want Brady to go anywhere else. Nevertheless, as things go on, Joe Brady too is looking up for his chances to earn a promotion.

The Saints fired Dennis Allen in November 2024, after the team suffered their seventh straight loss. With this, we could easily understand why the franchise wasn’t happy with Allen, especially when this losing streak was the longest for the team since 1999. Hence, after using Darren Rizzi as the interim coach for the rest of the season, the team is on the hunt for a new head coach. And who could be better than Joe Brady?

So, according to the reports, Joe Brady has already completed his interview with the Saints. In addition, his popularity appeals to other teams as well. It’s because soon after Brady had an interview with New Orleans, the Bears too approached him for the head coaching job this January. The Bears also parted ways with their head coach Matt Eberflus in November last year. Hence, they also want someone at their HC spot.

We’ll see what happens next for Joe Brady after the playoffs or Super Bowl, depending on their wins.
