Whatever Josh Allen is pulling off as a Bills QB is nothing short of remarkable. Within just five seasons, Allen has yet again taken the Bills to their second AFC conference title game. So, no matter the outcome next week against the Chiefs, Allen’s contribution cannot be questioned. And that’s why the Bills have bonuses and a possible restructured contract ready for Allen after this season.
See, Allen has already delivered an MVP-calibre season, throwing 3,731 passing yards and combining for 40 TDs. He even sent his closest MVP rival, Lamar Jackson, packing home following a narrow 27-25 win. This means the next task for Allen is to deliver that elusive Super Bowl appearance, which Buffalo hasn’t sniffed since 1994. And you know what? If he does manage to win the AFC title next weekend, a seven-figure bonus will be on the table.
Yes, that’s right. $1M will instantly go into Allen’s pocket as soon as the Bills are declared AFC conference title winners. However, that won’t be the only bonus Allen will probably receive this season. Considering the Bills go on and win their first Super Bowl in New Orleans. Allen will be a bit richer than he already is. This time, the Bills’ QB will get $2.5M for delivering the Lombardi to Buffalo. And that’s not where his bonuses end. You know, Allen has already won the MVP battle on the gridiron by beating the Ravens on Sunday.

With an AFC Championship Win…#Bills QB Josh Allen will secure a $1M bonus, & $2.5M will be added to his 2025 salary.
With “just” $14.5M cash allocated in 2025, it’s widely expected that Allen and the Bills will discuss a renegotiated contract this offseason.

So, he probably increased his chances of winning his first league MVP. Doing so would mean Allen gets another $1.5M bag of cash to complete his 2024 season. A total of $5M is already waiting for Allen to pick and end a memorable season with the Bills. Besides just bonuses, there are even talks to restructure Allen’s contract. As per NFL insider Ian Rapoport, “Allen is due to make just $14.5M next year in a front-loaded contract. The Bills and Josh Allen have a great relationship. They have an open dialogue. I would not be surprised at all if the Bills take a look at this contract this offseason and offer an adjustment.”

Like Allen has already proven himself worthy of a restructured contract. And it remains to be seen if the Bills do reward him with heaps of cash because of what he continues to deliver as their QB. Just look at the Ravens clash. Nobody really took the Bills seriously until they proved all of their doubters wrong.
Josh Allen silences the Bills’ critics with a win over Baltimore
Anyone who goes about by the stats would feel the Bills were outplayed in all departments. Like Baltimore had 416 total yards compared to the Bills’ 273. They were 7.3 yards per play to the Bills 4.6. So, clearly, they weren’t clinical enough, right? Well, to break it down for you. The Bills were clinical when it mattered the most. This was a Ravens offense that didn’t have more than 11 turnovers before heading to Buffalo. However, to everyone’s surprise, the Bills defense got 3 turnovers out of them. One came following an interception, and two of them were costly fumbles.

Well, the game-changing fumble came through Ravens TE Mark Andrews. Him fumbling the ball in the 4th quarter led to Bills’ LB Terrel Bernard recovering. This changed the momentum of the game as the Ravens couldn’t nullify the 2-point deficit until the final moments. Yes, they scored a 24-yard TD to narrow the lead up to 27-25. But the Bills held on by draining the clock to its final seconds. So, when the dust settled and snow still came down hard in Buffalo. Josh Allen came out and expressed how he couldn’t have been prouder of his boys, “I’m so proud of our defense. I’m so proud of our offense and special teams. What a complete win.”
But the task is not finished for Josh Allen and his boys. Next up, it’s the Chiefs, who have always been the thorn in the Bills’ path to the Super Bowl.
