In the league where most players and owners shy from showing their political views, Tavia Hunt, wife of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, stands out. She has been very vocal about her political views. And she uses social media as a way to show her views.

On November 14, she posted an Instagram story that had a video in support of Elon Musk’s announcing Director of Government Efficiency (DOGE). She wrote, “Beside myself excited about this.” After Donald Trump was elected as the 47th President, he announced the formation of DOGE.

According to Trump, the DOGE would have out-of-government professionals who would advise the government to cut down on its spending without affecting any activity. Fans are excited about this. They want to know how their tax money is being spent. Elon Musk’s tax cut decision has found support from the wife of the billionaire Chiefs owner, Clark Hunt.

While she has never openly supported Trump, she gave subtle yet enough hints to the public. During the voting phase, she posted an IG story to criticize the Justice Department. She wrote, “It’s a criminal felony for an illegal alien to register to vote.” Now, huge changes are expected.

She has given updates to the fans about almost everything. However, the Chiefdom is concerned about the team’s relocation.

Hunt’s Kansas City Chiefs relocation rumors

The lease for the Arrowhead Stadium will expire in 2030. And the team is already looking for options. They earlier proposed a $2 billion plan to renovate the stadium alongside creating a new ballpark for the Kansas City Royals. But the taxpayers didn’t like it, and the plan was canceled.

They were forced to make another plan for the team or find some new investors. The Royals and their owner, John Sherman, had agreed to a $1 billion investment in the initial plan. But the question is how they would go ahead with the revised plan. So, it left them with only 3rd option. A relocation!

That would be historic if they did that. Currently based in Missouri, Kansas is trying to lure Clark Hunt’s Chiefs. 6 months back in June, Missouri Governor Mike Parson claimed they would make the best deal for the franchise. But in the same month, Kansas governor Laura Kelly signed legislation with $700 million or more to the Chiefs and Royals for the relocation.

While there is no clear information about it yet, Clark Hunt is meeting with Missouri politicians to renovate the Arrowhead. But he is also scouting new sites. It would be one of the biggest relocations in the NFL if it happens. There are a lot of stakes here. The city, the legacy, the history, and most importantly, the Chiefdom. Well! Looking at her social media activeness, Tavia Hunt could be the first person to declare the news once anything gets finalized!
