Two things can be true. First, the football world is ever-changing. Second, there is no need for Belichick’s “archaic” methods in the New England Patriots. The million-dollar question is: Will the New England Patriots sever ties with Bill Belichick by the end of the season? Is this it for his Patriots legacy? If Belichick’s time with the Pats ends, he might be looking to tie up with the LA Chargers, per Dan Graziano of ESPN. But does he have other options as well?

First Things First host Nick Wright sparked an exciting conversation in the wake of these events. Enter Dallas Cowboys in the conversation. The Dallas team barely clinched a spot in the playoffs; however, the thing is, for the wealthiest sports franchise in history, the Cowboys did a sloppy job of securing this position by the skin of their teeth. So, do they need a new coaching staff?

With the Bill Belichick era possibly ending with the Pats, are the Cowboys ready to accept him?

Nick Wright mentioned that a reporter colleague of his floated the idea that Bill Belichick might also have a place in the Dallas Cowboys. Wright said that if the Cowboys lose one more game, Jerry Jones might get upset and consider bringing Bill Belichick in. That’s, of course, in case the Dallas team goes bust.

“If Dallas were to full-on collapse and Jerry Jones were to react negatively to it, that we should keep an eye on the Cowboys as a potential Belichick destination,” said Nick Wright. He said it won’t be the quarterback who will bear the heat; instead, it will be the coaching staff that might get replaced. The Cowboys are currently 10-4, coming from an embarrassing loss against the Buffalo Bills.

The Dallas Cowboys will be playing the Miami Dolphins on Christmas at the Hard Rock Stadium, and their on-road record has been historically bad. So, there is a significant chance that they might lose the game.

They lost to the Buffalo Bills recently and have three more games to go, with the next two being the toughest. The Cowboys haven’t been in a championship game since 1995, and Jerry Jones might get impatient after all these years. Also, Scott Zolak, a former Patriots QB turned radio announcer, floated a rumor that Belichick might be looking to settle into Dallas Cowboys for good, but Sports Illustrated debunked it.

At this point, it’s speculation that Belichick might find a place in the Cowboys’ roster. He previously expressed his desire to move to the Kansas City Chiefs. Per CBS, Belichick said, “Yeah, getting ready for Kansas City,” when asked about him parting ways with the Patriots. So, there’s not much clarity here.

Also, with the Chargers firing Brandon Staley and GM Tom Telesco, Belichick might have a life in Los Angeles as well.
