Dallas Cowboys have lost 2 games in a row. Fans and locker room are feeling dejected. Amidst all these, there is a rumor. Might feel like a wave of fresh air for America’s team. Legendary coach Bill Belichick wants to take the job. It started when praised them recently, claiming that they have the talent. But an analyst has warned him of the risks involved.
Speaking on ESPN’s Get Up Show, former WR Andrew Hawkins started with an epic line, “If you put a king in a circus, the circus doesn’t look like a palace, the king looks like a clown. The culture in Dallas, that is not conducive to bring out the best of Bill Belichick or that organization with everything Nick said about Jerry Jones.” Well, that’s a pretty powerful statement, but it’s right. Under Jones, the Cowboys have often delayed the matters that required urgent attention.

The best scenario was CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott‘s contract extension. Jones gave several statements during the offseason, which often confused fans. Many of those fans even attacked the owner for his shrewd tactics. But there’s one thing that everyone missed.
More often than not, only the owner gave statements about contracts. And he likes media attention. Very rarely, you will see the Head Coach, Mike McCarthy, and other officials make any comment about the team. But the former wide receiver caught it.
Hawkins pinpointed this and said, “He (Jerry Jones) wants to run the show. He wants to be the one to pick the players. He wants to go in the media and say what he wants to because it’s his team. And none of that works for Bill Belichick. Cause when he was running the organization, top to bottom, nobody talked to the media.”
What’s your perspective on:
Would Belichick's legacy survive Jerry Jones' dictatorship, or is he risking becoming a puppet?

The ex-NFLer made it clear that though Bill Belichick might be perfectly suited for the role of Cowboys Head Coach, the risk of becoming a clown is very high. And we can’t agree more. Jerry Jones often talks to reporters on one show or another, giving insights into the culture.
A recent development at the franchise might fasten the process of a change in coach.

Cowboys cornerback criticizes the lack of discipline
The Cowboys lack the winning edge. Everyone has different views after a 1-2 win-loss record after 3 games. While some fans claim that Jerry Jones is the reason for the team’s failures, a Cowboys player believes the problem lies within the structure. It’s a lack of discipline.
Cornerback Jourdan Lewis‘ exact words were, “We’ve got to be detailed. At the end of the day, this s— is about us stopping people. This is the NFL, if we’re not detailed, anybody can beat us. We are not detailed in our work.” If that’s the real reason, Bill Belichick might turn the tables around. He instilled match-winning habits in the Patriots locker room.
