TJ Watt joined his big brother, the legend JJ Watt, in the history books. Both of them share a loving bond and have etched their names as the greats of the NFL. This time around TJ Watt’s sack has made history as he achieves a remarkable record by matching his elder one. The Steelers spearhead, TJ Watt, performed extremely well during his time on the field against the Ravens. He managed two sacks and, most importantly, two QB hits and kept the Ravens’ offense in check.

After the record-breaking game for TJ Watt, JJ Watt became the happiest guy. Texans mainstay his whole career, JJ Watts has been considered one of the best defenders. You can call it genetics, as TJ Watts is making his case by joining the long-standing records that JJ Watts holds.

JJ Watt has completed 114.5 career sacks, and five years younger, TJ Watt is about to reach the 100 mark with 96.5 sacks. On top of this, they are the only players in the history of the league to have had more than 19 sacks in multiple seasons. JJ Watt achieved the feat in 2012 and 2014. TJ Watt did it first in 2021 and now made his case by making a world record in today’s game. Rightly so, Big Brother took to X and expressed his feelings after TJ Watt achieved the feet.

 

JJ Watt stated with confidence that his younger brother is “THE BEST IN THE WORLD.” He took a jab at the opponents’ offense, which faces TJ Watt, “ARGUE WITH A WALL.” Unfortunately, his stay on the field was cut short when he took a hit with his teammate and got injured. Immediately, he was taken to the blue tent for a check-up. Without his support, the Steelers still managed to get a convincing victory 17-10 at the Ravens’ home ground.

The Steelers are still in the hunt for playoffs

Lamar Jackson, Odell Bekham Jr., and other key players did not play for the Ravens side. This gives the Steelers the required edge in a must-win game. Despite the windy and cold conditions of Baltimore, the Steelers proved their worth on the gridiron.

If the Steelers had lost this one their odds would have dropped to 20% but this win has bolstered their hopes and their chances stand at 71% now.
