Despite registering five game-winning streak the Cincinnati Bengals came up late as the playoffs doors are closed. The franchise ended the regular season with a 9-8 record. As y’all know Zac Taylor‘s Bengals are gonna make major changes not only in the roster but also in the coaching staff. If reports are to be believed, head coach Zac Taylor is gearing up for changes.
As Taylor came to address the press on Monday, he clearly said, “We had higher expectations and standards for what we have achieved this year, and that is certainly driving us moving forward.” The 41-year-old head coach came up with a big update regarding the major changes in the organization. He discussed how the Bengals are gonna fill up the coaching positions for the next season. Talking about the changes, Taylor said, “I’m not gonna write anybody off because of the experience level. I think you gotta evaluate everybody out there.”
Moving forward the HC also said something worth that’s exclusively related to what the Bengals are looking for in their defensive, offensive, and special teams coaches. He said, “Certainly we have a team that I think is ready to win and do great things. So, experience is a good thing. But I’m not gonna say that rules anybody out,” when asked about will the franchise hire somebody who has great experience in the job.

Zac Talyor has also thrown a light on offensive line positions and coordinators. When asked – Coach will you be looking for a run game coordinator as well in the offensive line position? Taylor replied, “We will just find the best fit for how it fits with our staff.” Well, now the organization will be looking for a defensive coach, offensive coach, and also other staff if needed as the franchise has made major changes.

On Monday Cincinnati heard big news from the Bengals headquarters. The franchise has fired coordinator Lou Anarumo and offensive line coach Frank Pollack. The fired OC Pollock had worked with the organization since 2021. But it has ended on a sad note. Beside him, the other fired coach, Lou Anarumo, had served the organization for six years.
The head coach has shared that he has an emotional bond with both of them, but that’s just a part of the process. Having won the last five games and QB Joe Burrow showcasing great stats in the regular season, the franchise would aim to prepare hard for the new season.

The Bengals will be in full-fledged mode to hire new talent. It’s gonna be fun to watch how they appoint coaches and who will find the spot to assist Zac Taylor.
